The idea of giving distances in combat from everything that you need to play Daggerheart (cards, pencil, character sheet and more than that respectively) is something so dumb and simple that is great.

I think it may actually be more difficult for me to focus on the C3 episodes because the soundtrack is effectively elevator music - it's quieter and less memorable. When I think back to important moments of C3, I have ZERO memory of the music. For C1 and C2 I have a much more vivid picture, because the music is there and it connects with the scene.

so I will readily admit, I absolutely love Exandria and the idea of campaign 4 using Daggerheart kinda made me worry that we wouldn't be seeing much of it again, but after this, I feel a lot better, even though leaving Exandria behind is still a possibility

They are not going to abandon all that work. There will probably be a Daggerheart version of Exandria world book or something. Probably different in some ways

My personal theory is that the end result of Ludinus and Predathos doing their shenanigans is going to be the breaking of the magic systems and pantheon of Exandria and campaign 4 will use Daggerheart in Exandria and deal with integrating it as the core system into their world

So I play a Warlock Harengon who is a Gravekeeper in my DnD game, and I love him! There is no Hare race in Daggerheart but I wouldn't let that stop me! Cause In Daggerheart I made him a Clank-Druid that looks like a Mechanical Hare, Orderborne who was designed to maintain the Graveyards and Catacombs in the city. Let your imaginations run wild, dive in yourself and enjoy this creative and colorful beta test people, cause this is something special!

I bumped into him in the hotel lobby at the first Pax unplugged. We were both looking for food before everything was open. He has this way of looking at you that makes you feel like you're important at that moment, even if you're just spazzing out in fan-panic.

Love this trend of the CR team showing us the process of their session zeros...very entertaining. Glad to see that these goofy nerds get as excited as I do about conjuring up cool new characters, and also nice to see them get a taste of how hard it is trying to come up with names for places. Love the backstory questions, the inter-character questions, and the way they've tied gameplay mechanics directly to roleplaying actions taken during rests. This actually got me curious to maybe try converting some of my existing 5E characters and figure out what they'd look like in Daggerheart. (Would be challenging since my current main is a paladin.)
