Christian's experience is the closest to mine of all the dozens of stories I've watched and read about. My recognition of being an energy being visiting here for learning and entertainment happened due to a 'blow out experience' that occurred to me because of a mentor who found me. (I've never had an NDE, so those stories are awesome but don't strictly speak to me.). After that blow out experience I had a series of a dozen and a half OBEs that absolutely confirmed that we're not just our physical bodies. *That all happened 45 yrs ago when I was 19.* You can't imagine the enormous amount of gratitude I've spoken for my mentor and about the subsequent journey for nearly half a century. I feel truly blessed to have had decades of time between that event and now because I've continuously worked on so much stuff. I had to since I discovered I had become buried underneath what seems like ossified layers of mis-emotion and incorrect actions due to said mis-emotions. My nice long walk 'thru' the physical has allowed me so much lifting of those layers, the repair to my soul, the forgiveness for so much of what I originally felt was 'so many wrongs done to me', etc. What a blessing to have been able to have an early life experience that firmly put me on this path of awareness. Apparently, I royally screwed up in many previous lives since basically all I've done in this life is 'repair work'. I'll add one thing as one of the secrets to 'becoming': your breath is the pathway.

Since age 5, I have had memory of being in my mother's womb. I remember how warm it felt. And I could hear muffled voices of people on the outside. I remember also my birth, how cold it felt and the eagerness I felt to come out, while at the same time sensing a negativity. I also remember stuff that I should not remember, such as how much discomfort in my neck I felt when adults would hold me. Most comfortable position was having me lean forward on a person's shoulder. I am 43 years old, and have had neck issues since early in my childhood. Strangely, I was late to start speaking, although I could understand what I was told and there was nothing medically wrong with me. Once I started to speak, I have struggled with anxiety when speaking. I have always wondered if, if there are past lives, if my speaking and neck issues are somehow connected.

I agree with many things he says as I also have pre-birth memories, I also remember many times where my soul goes and what it does when my body is sleeping. I have seen that this is a simulator, is like an illusion but feels very real, that's the purpose of the experience. I don't remember everything of course, so there are things I don't understand. This human perspective and soul perspective is different, but to me how the human feels in this simulation counts. It does not make sense to me that a soul would choose to experience so much pain, I don't feel that was the original plan. I have seen from space looking at Earth while talking with my cosmic father how everybody cannot grasp the truth of who we truly are and how it is. I only had that knowing for a few seconds and then once here I forget again. The suffering and chaos of this world is too much, it was never meant to be that way. I think the creation plan did not work as planned and too many souls became negative in this duality consciousness. Therefore, they lost themselves in a way and now many souls have come to raise consciousness so people can remember again. That's how I see it. The nature of my soul is joy, happiness, freedom, my soul wants me to play, laugh have fun, my ego wants to work to make money, therefore I become stressed and unhappy if I don't follow my heart. This is why I dont understand that the soul would choose to experience so much pain, because to me is not the soul but the human ego and programming.

I had an experience once where i was standing at the kitchen sink washing dishes and all the sudden from what felt like a different part of my consciousness i was thinking how great it was that i had actually integrated into this body and life .. like i was think oh wow your buying really buying that that is you and you are there washing dishes.. what fun!! It’s almost as if there is a bigger plan to spread and grow the Love that souls are a part of even before incarnation happens. Pretty mind boggling.

Individuation and Oneness are not mutually exclusive. :) That is, we can be (and are!) ourselves, preciously individuated, and, we can fully know and feel our connectedness with all, including our oneness even with God, at the same time. Only here in duality (where we are experiencing such deep non-native separation) does that seem strange. :) I hope that helps!

39:00 i HATE the ideas resembling Law of Attraction so much. if someone gets the belief and expectation that they can't trust people and that they aren't worth people's love -- perhaps they got this belief from their parents and school teachers and poor friendships in school -- and then they only attract more situations and people that confirm this belief, as they age throughout adulthood, and then until they die... how is okay? how is this a compassionate Universe?!

someone who has internalized a belief that they are worthless, needs people to come into their lives that will treat that person as if they are worthy!

the Law of Attraction implicitly blames that person for having incorrect beliefs. it says "change your thinking!". but such demand in itself is non-empathic and demanding. that's not what such a person needs to actually change tehir beliefs about their own self-worth! what they need is some kindness and actual empathy!

so, i cannot be okay believing in a Universe that gives people more of the painful experiences that they already get, when such people need experiences that are opposite to their self-harming beliefs.

I love this question! I think you’re right that there could be benefits to not knowing our purpose. I know that I often feel like my higher self doesn’t give me all of the answers I’m asking for because she likes to see what I come up with on my own. Just like Christian says here, the free will aspect is very exciting from the omniscient perspective.
… to answer your question, I do know my purpose. Early on in my spiritual journey about 20 years ago, I became aware of a past life as a shaman. This took me down the path of meditation and the shamanic journey aka visualization. So one day after a hard day at a job I hated, I smoked marijuana and intended to journey into the reason behind my acne. Well, I was not expecting it, but i ended up traveling to the astral plane via my spirit guide, panther. It was a surreal place where I knew I could ask any question and receive the answer. So of course I asked: what is my life’s purpose? I was surprised to hear the answer: to be happy. I was expecting something like, to be a painter or to get married and have kids lol. Spirit has no "need" at all. Yet, it chooses to engage realities like our own in order to participate in evolution/ expansion. Why not just "snap one's fingers and accomplish that"? - Because real growth requires real counter-pressure (otherwise it's not real): we are talking about real growth, real challenge- not some creatable form expression (not some shape, sight, end physical product). Metaphorically you don't gain muscle by not lifting weight, you need (can choose to use) the counter pressure of the weight to grow stronger. What can challenge that which is already perfect and all powerful?- the illusion of not being so, and having to make actual choices under specific limitations. It is precisely the rubber meeting the road of real free willed beings making real choices under real constraints that yields growth. Challenge is not to be avoided, the negative is not to be avoided (metaphorically the potential discomfort of lifting a weight is not to be avoided). The local ego might not like this, because the ego is motivated by fear (fear meaning we reject the local experience and all of its pain, and put negative meaning on it)- but working through and past even that rejection, and working to come to terms with and integrate even these great limitations, is precisely what facilitates the expansion of consciousness. We use what we are not (limitation) to grow what we are (unlimited Life). That growth is precisely an experiential "rubber meets the road" process. Despite the potential pain and rigor of certain Earthly circumstances, all Earthly contexts are fundamentally neutral, and we apply the meaning. The immortal spirit cannot be harmed by anything, including being killed in a simulation called physical life- and meanwhile, where a spirit has much love and has conquered much fear, even very challenging circumstances are not necessarily "terrible," but can be seen and known for the great Life and love that is present and can shine even there.
