Hold On I'm Coming
Dave Sam Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

Don't you ever feel sad
Lean on me when times are bad
When the day comes and you're down
In a river of trouble and about to drown

Just hold on, I'm comin'
Hold on, I'm comin'
I'm goin' my way, your lover
If you get cold, yeah, I will be your cover
Don't have to worry (worry) 'cause I'm here (I'm here)
No need to suffer baby (protect you)
'Cause I'm here (yeah, yeah)

Just hold on, I'm comin'
Hold on, I'm comin'
Hold on, I'm comin'
Hold on, I'm comin'

Looky here
Reach out to me for satisfaction, yeah
Looky here Dave, that's all she got to do
Call my name, yeah, for quick reaction
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah

Now don't you ever feel sad
Lean on me when the times are bad
When the day comes and you're down, baby
In a river of trouble and about to drown

Just hold on, I'm comin'
Hold on, I'm comin'

Just hold on (don't you worry)
I'm comin' (here we come)
Hold on (we're about to save you)
I'm comin' (yeah)

Hold on (don't you worry)

I'm comin' (here I come)
Hold on

When I feel kinda down
I reach back for music
Like this next thing you
Know this American Indian jumps around
This wooden floor
Got me feeling better,
I'm thankful to my
Black brothers for
Making it happen,
I miss the Motown
Sound,
Wish it was still
Being recorded
Like this....
And if anyone out there
Feeling down, I think
You would agree,
Just fire me up!!
Hope your day is
Sweeter....
Your man from Texas
Peace/out........

@tsimeone

because music is so easy to make and people buy into the vanity of music, and sadly. your likes of nicki minaj and other trashy pop artist flood the charts these days.. Very cheap to make and market,

but man, the soul in music <3 and 100s of tracks from the 60s - 80s make me wish i was growing up through that era.

saying that, my main 'Coming of ages years' 19-24 were spent living in london on the club scene, and alot of music back then was funky house / disco house..

stuff you would never hear out on the radio, but the music had soul and funk and warmness to it.

ahh i could go on, but i 100% agree with you, and i'm 34
