1) Dawn of Dreams was an Austrian gothic/doom metal band. Their full-length albums are: "Amber" (1997), "Fragments" (1998), and "Eidolon" (2001).
Around the time of Eidolon's release this DoD disbanded to pursue other musical projects.
Recently the official website indicated that another DoD album is in the works, with a different vocalist. The ex-vocalist is still doing vox for Cemetery of Scream (a Polish band, to which he has contributed vocals for a long time).

Dance and cry, cry and dance in a dreamlike trance in a world both enchanting and sorrowful, a world that once was and will never be again.
Another 10/10 goes to the magicians behind Dawn of dreams, and I'm just yet another soul dragging its feet into the pleasantly busy comment section to write these words. A bold move to make gothic doom so explicitly dancy, but this sound works for me perfectly and creates quite unique atmosphere. I was floored by "Amber" on the first listen and wasn't sure DoD could replicate its specific charm on the next album, but they aced it again while making "Fragments" clearly distinct from its predecessor.
Words cannot express how much I miss their magic. It's been more than 2 decades since they've disbanded and it feels like I'm shouting into the emptiness. Guess I just wanted to say that even 25 years after this humble underground piece was released there are still people stumbling upon it and becoming enraptured, as if time stands still.
