Bring It On
Dead-Lift Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

I sit back and watch the way your words unravel me
Picking up the pieces of our broken history
All this hurt goes on and on and on and on and I can't let go
Would you chase tomorrow if we saw it all unfold
Waking up to memories of all the lies you told.
So these words go round and round and round and round
You can't hear me now
You can't hear me now
There's nothing left when the worlds on fire
Bring it Down!
I'm trying hard but I'm not inspired
Bring it Down!
And I'll
I'll do it without you
Looking in the mirror just to face reality
Making sense of questions that were asked of you and me
Taking back the pieces that you gave away
I can't forgive
That you won't forget
There's nothing left when the worlds on fire
Bring it Down!
I'm trying hard but I'm not inspired
Bring it Down!
And I'll
I'll do it without you
Woah
Bring it down
Bring it down
Bring it down
Bring it down
Bring it down
Bring it down
Bring it down
On me
On me
Take me away now
Take me away now
Take me away now
There's nothing left when the worlds on fire
Bring it Down!

I'm trying hard but I'm not inspired
Bring it Down!

These guys are great, I think the reason the band isn't too well known is because when you search Dead-lift you get gym videos or information. I've told people to find them and they gave up cause it wasn't too easy.. Either way I listen to 06 and 08 album most days of the week.

The music is quite decent but the "story" is kinda laughable. Had they kept it just the band playing it would have been good. Just the story was funny, and the acting on the "fight scene" well I've done better in a fight scene in many a play films I've done... No joking this band is headed places just a music video properly done with the proper mood and proper lighting will catapult them to the big time. Look what "Virtual Insanity" did for Jamiroquai...

With no experience and having joined youtube today solely to make this comment, your review is "laughable." Considering we get paid for the work we do for television and other productions, I'd say we are considered professional, but that's just my opinion ;)

I will say that the story makes me laugh. this music is terrible. the production is decent. i like the no instrument/no band stuff, but this editing is def a little off. you guys get paid for work? by who? that gives me hope that if i ever got focused i could get paid by someone...so if anything, i could say that this video inspires me, so for that, i thank you.
