With a passion for music and art, yet no professional training, he is both artistically gifted and extremely driven. At the age of 15 he received a scholarship to Baltimore City School of The Arts. He later went on to make a living drawing and painting church murals and portraits. DeStorm attended BSU (Bowie State University) where he majored in Music and Fine Arts. Also an excellent athlete, he received a scholarship in Track and Field and competed in the long jump, triple jump and 400m dash at the Olympic level. He later went on to become a Certified Master Trainer specializing kick boxing, speed dynamics, and sports specific training and trains numerous clients regularly to this day.

DeStorm is also a talented singer, songwriter and producer. He is the founder and CEO (1998) of Platinum Rings Productions, a cutting edge music production company aimed at creating new and unique R&B/HipHop/Pop/Reggae music for established and up and coming artist in the USA and abroad. He has established a successful underground presence by creating unique drops and intros for over 100 popular DJ's throughout the world. His music has also been featured in national commercial spots such as WinterFresh, KFC, Heinz, Lea and Perrins and Showtime at the Apollo. In 2005 DeStorm moved to NYC. Working with Dooby at Bad Boy Records, he eventually began ghostwriting and producing for artists at major labels including Atlantic Records and Universal Music Group.

DeStorm, a current SAG member, now resides in Brooklyn, NY. While he has many talents, DeStorm is currently focusing on his acting and music career. He has also found success through YouTube, where he has been able to put his musical and acting talents on display for over 20,000 subscribers and growing. This song saved me, i heard it when i was 12. School and my mental health were spiraling and i thought all was hopeless. I had been following RayWJ since he made a video for his class. He reviewed a tow truck messing up bad alongside a few others, this started his whole channel that exploded. That lead me to yourfavoritemartian, the first person who i saw that was successful in all the things that i loved and wanted to work with. When no else thought i could ever be successful, They were the proof that i could. Destorm was the next one i found, King Kong and Fight to Win were my first two songs where i couldn't get his verses out of my head. The lyrics, the passion, the way he put so much effort in all of his videos. Whether they know it or not, there is an entire generation who grew up alongside these people. Maybe never in person, but all the same we saw them grow as people as we grew ourselves. I know that i am not alone with these thoughts. who could forget these people who showed us we weren't alone, that the talents we love aren't a waste of time. That to be a gamer, a independent artist, a content creator is an actually a job one could have. This song needs to play whenever someone mentions' their mistakes or past mess ups. They never gave up, they kept pushing no matter how hard they fell. I see them as brothers who no matter how negative i may perceive them, no matter how long i go without hearing from them, my love for them will never waiver. Thank you to all the artist who made this video, remember that to be invincible is as simple as to never give up.

This song and YFMs Alien helped me get through some dark spots in my life. I always find myself coming back to those two songs. Alien helped me get over the lingering trauma and fear I had from bullies who hurt me physically and emotionally and it made me realize that bullies wont be there forever and as long as you have friends and you aren't alone you won't be targetted. Invincible in someways is my life's anthem. I live through life one step forward focusing on one goal after another. When I listen to Invincible, to me, with the imagery shown with the teenagers and the lyrics, life always goes on. It has its ups and downs but you need to make the best out of the curveballs thrown into your life, and to never give up and keep striving to do better in whatever you do. Probably not what this song actually implies but it is what I get from it.

I love this song. I think it's awesome. It really has a good message and it actually talks about things that happen to other people. It also really speaks the truth. There are times when people (especially teenagers) think that they are invincible and they think that nothing can ever hurt them or stop them. They think that they have no where to go, but up. Then... Reality shows itself and it showed itself in the form of aids. Then they realize that they were wrong and they just have to live with the stupid choices that they made and just make sure that they never do it again...or at least be more careful next time.

Alright this is just a theory;
Ray represents the girl once she's been cheated and how broken and upset she is. Then later on in the video it shows how much stronger and happier she is hence the words "But I'm back, they said I'd never win this Not only am I back, bitch, I'm back with a vengeance"
DeStorm represents the boy and how he made so many mistakes and how he feels "invincible". And once he's cheated on the girl he starts to regret hes decision (the girls names Nikki in real life, I know because I watch her video's). Like how it said in the song "Now it burns their tongue every time they bring your name up"
