In "That's Life," Dilba Demirbag expresses frustration with the lack of substance in her conversations and her own thoughts. She acknowledges that sometimes she enjoys playful banter, but ultimately realizes that time is wasting away. The repetition of "li-li-li..." creates a sense of the monotony and emptiness of life, with the black hole in the sky serving as a metaphor for the vast nothingness that can be all-consuming. The use of onomatopoeic sounds like "wa-wa-wa..." and "la-la-la..." also add to the sense of repetition and futility.
The chorus of the song urges for the problematic aspects of life to "go away," but it seems that no matter what, they're always there. The song acknowledges both the good and bad aspects of life, highlighting the complexity of human existence. It's a song that can be interpreted in various ways, with some people finding it depressing while others find it affirming of the human experience.
