The lyrics to Dirt's song "Bully" speak to the important themes of anti-bullying and the power of peace. The singer addresses a bully, questioning what they've done to deserve the mistreatment and encouraging the bully to stop their behavior. The singer emphasizes the importance of friendship, stating that they would do anything to mend the relationship, even though they have not been treated well.
One of the most powerful lines in the song is "if I was a coward I'd be just like you," highlighting the fact that it takes much more courage to stand up against violence and bullying than it does to engage in it. The singer also points out the futility of violence, stating that it does not solve anything and that peace is the only answer. The song concludes with a call for pacifism and a plea for others to "give peace a chance."
Overall, "Bully" is a powerful message to stand up against bullying and promote non-violence. It emphasizes the important message that peacemakers are the ones who truly win in life, and that it takes courage to stand up against bullies and promote love and kindness in the world.

When you’re walking alone at night alone through the streets
and the stars shine bright
The constant shadows of the houses
Things start to go
And the clouds start to cover up the light that’s shining bright above
(And the strangers are worried?)
It’s dark and you’re alone
It’s dark and you’re alone
And you’re…?
And your face gets cold
In the distance you see a man
Who’s leaning over (?)
You can quite make out his appearance
It’s dark and you’re alone
It’s dark and you’re alone
Your hearts beats faster
And you’re (…?)
And you’re still so far away from the safety of your home
And the stranger has vanished
You hear footsteps from behind
So you turn to look
And there’s the man
Who’s got a knife in his hand
(And you think you got the upper hand?)
And you turn around…and you look him in the eye…
And you don’t know why
And you don’t know why
And you don’t know why
You’re just another statistic
You’re just another statistic
You’re just another statistic
You’re just another statistic
You’re just another statistic
You’re just another statistic
You’re just another statistic
You’re just another statistic
And you’re all…?
You’re all potential victims
You’re all potential victims
You’re all potential victims
You’re all potential victims
You’re all potential victims
You’re all potential victims
You’re all potential victims
Yeah you and me and you and me and you and me
And your face/place got cold (repeated)
And you’re just another statistic
And you don’t know why (repeated)
And you never will
