that the game really needs is like how civ does the history at the end showing who you claimed areas, it zooms out and speeds along with how far you went and resources collected... and perhaps have a ping showing what you missed.

Prestige mode has been kicking my ass. Maybe just really bad luck on resource spawns. Maybe I’m overrating shield. Nice job on this run.

@daaaaaave Ya teleporter might bit a bit too strong compared to the rest. Don't really want to see nerfs though, so maybe some move speed buffs could help even things out.

@Haelian Thanks. It feels really inconsistent. Like, it's hard to know how hard you can push econ (speed/carry/drill), when it's kind of RNG whether you'll see the iron you need to defend again anytime soon. That, and not getting teleporter feels awful on huge maps.

The infinite drill upgrades scale 50% more off the last. IE: 90 -> 135 or an increase of 45 in that case. Also why the one after 135 was an awkward amount of 202.5

I hate that there are people pick up single player indie games that have a leaderboard, and ruin them for everyone else who actually plays the game. The part that really pisses me off is that if you look at these people's steam page, miraculously someone with 4 quadrillion points has only played the game for 2 hours. What's the point? I hope steam helps devs who use their leaderboards to build the ones in their game flag these people and remove their ability to have scores uploaded on any game. Don't know why I'm ranting in a YT comment, but this happens to a lot of the games I enjoy and it ruins the enjoyment I would normally get from trying to climb one legitimately.

Just one of the many various reasons I don't like online leaderboards. Would rather a personal high score, or at least the ability to opt out of score keeping entirely.

@Zer0 Bin0pse it's not as easy at it might seem for smaller developers to do because it requires having a lot of storage on a server or cloud platform to save all that information let alone be able to realistically parse through it manually. Especially when developers are using steams leaderboards framework, because then it's ultimately on steam to improve their tools, which is something that's a lot easier for them to do then small studios or solo devs.

not a problem thats impossible to deal with though, cheating would be easy to confirm if the game stored replays with the scores, although a feature like that is kinda unusual outside of racing games.

Like the content! I think the seed can grow multiple resources at once, so it might be viable to save early water/gold in close proximity in order to have a sustainable resource option

This is just how long it takes to do a good prestige run. It’s nice to have a full game to see if you can pick anything up if you’ve been struggling with prestige mode like I have.
