@@reannar678 except those dudes used only samples. Guru uses actual instruments in his Jazzmatazz albums, along wit The Roots, Deltron 3030, A Tribe called Quest and De La Soul. Multiple Hip-Hop artists do this btw instead of using samples to be more authentic. This style of Hip-Hop is a sub-genre called "Jazz Rap" eastcoast boombap wit actual instruments

I remember buying this album on cassette tape summer of 93 and it sounded different than any previous guru album or any other rap album on the market...guru wasn't afraid to try something new and I believe this is the best of the three jazzmataz albums
