1. Dos (from the Spanish for "two") is an American punk group composed of Mike Watt and Kira Roessler, who both sing and play bass guitar.
Both performers have substantial experience in pioneering punk groups: Watt has been a member of The Reactionaries, Minutemen, fIREHOSE, Banyan and the reunited lineup of The Stooges, while Roessler was in Black Flag for about two years. The band has issued four albums, "Dos" (1986), "Numero Dos" (1989), "Justamente Tres" (1996) and "Dos y Dos" (2011).
2. dos (standing for Dance of Sound) was a Japanese R&B/pop trio, best known for their 1996 platinum-certified single, "Baby Baby Baby". All of their material was produced by legendary producer, Tetsuya Komuro, who wrote and produced songs for various multi-platinum acts, including Globe, TRF, Ami Suzuki and Ayumi Hamasaki. The group split in late 1996 after the release of their third single, "Close Your Eyes". The group's lead vocalist, Taeco (who was a former idol), went on to release one more single, "Deep Grind", in 1997. She retired all together a decade later, in 2007. The group's dancer and back vocalist, Asami, went on to involve herself in a controversial romantic relationship with the group's main producer, Tetsuya Komuro, and joined the producer in the duo, Kiss Destination (renamed to True Kiss Destination later on), in 1998. The group had mild success, and Asami and Komuro filed for a divorce in 2002, a year after their marriage. The group's male member, Kaba, (who was dos's choreographer), came out of the closet a few years after dos's disbandment, and became a pop culture icon for his skills as a dancer, his over-the-top flamboyancy, and became a hero among Japan's gay community.

When two lovers can't be friends
Now that I'm feeling so unsure I gotta know
Tell me your love will always shine
And I'm so wrong so wrong this time
How do you make these feelings go I gotta know
Then you hold me close
And call my name say to me
And your hearts the same as its always been
Then you make me understand its all inside
Its all inside my mind
I'll wake to find that I've been dreaming(I've been dreaming)
Its all inside my head
Better listen to what my heart is feeling
So just tell me I am wrong
When I feel I don't belong
And if I'm feeling insecure don't let go
Cause you don't give up when I'm down
Give me time to come around
And your hearts the same as its always been
And you make me understand its all inside
Its all inside my mind
I'll wake to find that I've been dreaming(I've been dreaming)
Its all inside my head
Better listen to what my heart is feeling(in my heart)
Its all inside my mind
I'll wake to find that I've been dreaming(can't stop living)
Its all inside my head
Better listen to what my heart is feeling(my heart is feeling)
All inside all inside my mind
All inside all inside my mind
All inside all inside my mind
All inside all inside my mind
Then you hold me close
And call my name say to me
That nothings changed
And your hearts the same as its always been
Then you make me understand its all inside
Oh when the love when the love when the love with you go
Come baby I want you feeling
Its all inside my mind
I'll wake to find that I've been dreaming
Its all inside my head
Better listen to what my heart is feeling
Its all inside my mind
In miss mosist to stopping living(I just got to stopping living)
Its all inside my head
Better listen to what my heart is feeling
Its all inside my mind
I'll wake to find that I've been dreaming (oh oh)
Its all inside my head
Better listen to what my heart is feeling
Its all inside my mind
In miss mosist to stopping living
In the lyrics of Dos's song "It's My Life," the singer reflects on a turbulent relationship that seems to be on the verge of ending. The opening lines convey a sense of uncertainty and confusion as to whether the relationship is coming to an end, especially when the two lovers are struggling to maintain a friendship. The singer is feeling insecure and seeks reassurance from their partner about the longevity of their love. They are asking for validation that their love will endure despite the doubt and conflict they are feeling.
The chorus of the song delves deeper into the emotional turmoil experienced by the singer. Despite feeling wrong and insecure, the singer longs for their partner to hold onto them during challenging times. The reassurance that the partner's heart remains unchanged provides some solace to the singer, helping them understand that the struggles they face are internal and can be overcome with support and understanding. The lyrics emphasize the importance of communication and emotional support in navigating the complexities of a relationship.
Throughout the song, there is a recurring theme of inner turmoil and doubts plaguing the singer's mind. They question their sense of belonging and grapple with feelings of insecurity and uncertainty. The chorus highlights the internal struggle the singer faces, oscillating between dreams and reality, with a plea to trust their heart's true feelings. The repetition of the phrase "All inside my mind" underscores the introspective nature of the singer's journey towards self-understanding and emotional clarity.
As the song progresses, the singer's plea for understanding and validation from their partner becomes more urgent. The lyrics express a desire for the love between them to persevere despite the challenges they face. The final lines of the song emphasize the need to trust one's heart and innermost feelings, urging both partners to listen to their emotions and work towards overcoming their doubts and insecurities together. The repeated refrain of "Its all inside my mind" serves as a reminder of the internal struggles and self-reflection that are essential in maintaining a strong and lasting connection in a relationship.
