These guys were geniuses. The characters they played were so unendingly funny and adorable. The way they talk over each other is still funny. The way they skip a few days is still brilliant. And the classy way they talk to each other even when arguing is so warm it delights me every time.
I have to hear this to get into the Christmas spirit every year. The way I have to listen to Arlo Guthrie's Alice's Restaurant in November. No question Bob and Doug will be listened to forever. Future generations will be playing this every year. Usually listen to it New Year's Eve, too.

SCTV was a wonderful brilliant comedy and think of all the comedic geniuses were on it. Any one who did not laugh at the McKenzie Brothers and feel a warm spot for those times are missing what I feel for this place in the north where I live!

I totally agree. They should play it at the malls and shops right up with Bing Crosby and all the other holiday music including Alice's Restaurant.
Our grandchildren will still enjoy the MacKenzie Brothers and White Christmas.
