Most frequently described as "indescribable", their sound is inspired by the heyday of early soul and pop icons, fused with the spit and grit of growing up in modern music ruins: the band’s EP, "Say Hello to Ces’t La Vie," listens like a playful, and often intimate dialogue between a couple and their good love gone awry.
“It’s really as if the listener were a fly on the wall for conversations and moments that Arielle and I are actually living out,” says singer Jeff Harber.
“The dual lead vocal is something that we had a lot of fun playing around with on these songs, and we really tried to utilize the format to tap into some relatable moments...we failed miserably, I’m sure,” adds singer Arielle Paige... the newest (and girliest) addition to the group.
Comprised of childhood pals Jayce Basques and Jeff Harber, card carrying multi-instrumental mohawk flaunting Pawnee tribe member Aaron Prim, classically trained pianist-gone-drummer "Add ‘em (Slabs)" Humphrey and pop diva phenom Arielle Paige, this musical collective shares the same sense of aesthetic while bringing their individual eclectic flair to the table.

And it's mine
The most loneliest day of my life
Such a lonely day
Should be banned
It's day that I can't stand
The most loneliest day of my life
Such a lonely day
Shouldn't exist
It's day that Ill never miss
Such a lonely day
And it's mine
The most loneliest day of my life
And if you go, I wanna go with you
And if you die, I wanna die with you
Take your hand and walk away
The most loneliest day of my life
The most loneliest day of my life
The most loneliest day of my life (life)
Such a lonely day
And it's mine
Is day that I'm glad I survived
The lyrics of Down Down Down's song "Day To Day" convey a feeling of desolation and despair that the singer is experiencing within himself. The repetition of the line "the most loneliest day of my life" throughout the song emphasizes the overwhelming sense of isolation that the singer is feeling. The opening line, "such a lonely day and it's mine," immediately sets the tone for the rest of the lyrics by highlighting the singer's feelings of isolation.
The third stanza, "such a lonely day, shouldn't exist, it's a day that I'll never miss," demonstrates how the singer considers this day as an unwanted and unnecessary experience that he would never want to go through again. However, the singer's emotions take a turn at the end of the song, where he expresses the desire for his beloved's companionship, even if it leads to their ultimate demise.
Overall, the song "Day to Day" is an introspective look into the isolation and loneliness that can creep into our lives, despite our best efforts to keep it at bay. It is a powerful reminder to make an effort to connect with others and find the light in our darkest moments.
