THIS SONG is so meaningful to so many people, in so many ways.
For me, I just turned 63 years old a few days ago.
Seems as if I only blinked my eyes two or maybe three times, & here I am.
Sadly, my arms are empty.
My first love passed away in January. That shattered my heart.
We never married, I moved to the west coast, & he told me a few years later, "If you loved me, WHY did you move away?" I never thought of that when I was was in school, etc. I assumed he went his way, then, I went my way.
He was dating many different girls, so, yeah, I assumed..... Both of our lives definitely went very different ways. Married to other people, having children, etc.
There's a handful of songs 🎵 that really eat away at my heartstrings. I really miss what was, as well as what could have been. 💔

It's now 2020. I'm 80 years old. Yet, this song is as fresh and meaningful as when I first heard it in 1967. It's part of my life, forever.
