Abnormal Generation
EXARSIS Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
Floride in our water, deadly effects
Don't take the bite, there's more to learn
The society wants you blinded
And you know, your generation's doomed
Slaughtering cattle to serve your cancer
Don't you question them, it's inevitable
You are just a number on their profit board
Pharmaceutical industries
POISON our blood
To DRIVE MILLIONS to extinction
Having a persistant illusion
Alive are well
No! You think you are
Can't you see, we're eating this?
INTESTINAL CANCER
Right within
Toxic waste from industries
CONSUMING GARBAGE
Shock tactics
Feeding you with tasty junk
While fluoride destroys your brain cells
Don't TAKE the BITE, there's MORE to learn
The society wants you blinded
The lyrics to Exarsis's song Abnormal Generation highlight the dangerous consequences of consumerism, corporate greed, and government involvement in our daily lives. The song speaks to the fact that the human project is being controlled by those in power who are using tactics such as adding fluoride to our water and manipulating our food sources to keep us ignorant and addicted to their products. The fast food industry in particular is targeted as a murderer of both innocent cattle and consumers, as it provides food which has been linked to causing cancer. The pharmaceutical industry is also criticized for its role in poisoning our blood and driving millions to extinction through its reckless practices.
The song emphasizes the importance of questioning authority and not blindly following the crowd, urging its listeners to not take the bite and to pursue knowledge and understanding. It suggests that society wants us to remain ignorant and accept our fate as mere numbers on a profit board. The lyrics' message is a call to action for listeners to take responsibility and control of their lives and to not be passive in the face of corrupt systems that seek to control us.
