Blues Al Desaparecido
El Cruce Lyrics

es grito de tristeza
el alma de un niño
que quedó sin riqueza
Sin aviso alguno
le quitaron a su padre
se lo llevaron unos hombres
no llores mi pequeño
Necesito encontrarlo
quiero verlo cuanto antes
sólo para abrazarlo
Desaparecido, desaparecido
nadie puede devolverme lo perdido
Desaparecido, desaparecido
no hay domingos, no hay perdón
y no hay olvido
Sí por tus sueños
viste la vida
yo en encontrarte
daré la mía
Dónde está mi padre
Necesito encontrarlo
quiero verlo cuanto antes
sólo para abrazarlo
Desaparecido, desaparecido
nadie puede devolverme lo perdido
Desaparecido, desaparecido
no hay domingos, no hay perdón
y no hay olvido
The lyrics to El Cruce's song "Blues Al Desaparecido" tell a powerful story of loss, desperation, and hope. The opening lines describe the blues as a cry of sadness and the soul of a child who was left without wealth. This sets the tone for the rest of the song, which focuses on a young boy searching for his father after he was taken away by men with different ideals.
The boy's father is abruptly taken from him without warning, and he is left with nothing but the promise of a Sunday meal together. Despite his father's assurances that everything will be okay, the boy cannot help but cry out for him and wonder where he has gone. The chorus repeats the word "desaparecido," meaning disappeared or missing, emphasizing the sense of loss and uncertainty that permeates the song.
The boy's desperation to find his father is palpable, and he is willing to risk everything for the chance to hold him again. The final lines of the song suggest that the boy sees his quest as a way to honor his father and his dreams, even if it means sacrificing his own life. This sentiment captures both the sadness and the resilience that are at the heart of the blues.
Overall, "Blues Al Desaparecido" is a poignant and emotionally resonant song that speaks to the universal human longing for connection and belonging.
