It's Going Down
Electric Callboy Lyrics

The feelings I get, forever unsaid
I can't handle the mess inside of my head
Wake up the demons that laid me to rest
Yeah!
I can't handle the mess inside of my head
Wake up the demons that laid me to rest
Yeah!
Do you fucking hear me?
Do you fucking hear me?
The lyrics of Electric Callboy's song "It's Going Down" delve deeply into the emotional struggles that the singer is experiencing inside his own mind. He admits that he is unable to handle the "mess inside" of his head, referring to the complex array of thoughts, emotions, and experiences that have accumulated over time. These feelings remain forever unsaid and unexpressed, contributing to an internal pressure that is difficult for him to manage.
However, there is a more sinister aspect to the lyrics that is revealed in the second verse. The singer acknowledges that there are also "demons" residing within him, waiting to be awakened. These demonic forces represent both his inner turmoil and the darker impulses that he struggles to keep under control. By waking them up, he risks being consumed by them entirely.
The repeated exclamation of "Yeah!" throughout the song serves to emphasize the intense emotional energy that is being conveyed. This is not just a casual expression, but rather a cry from the heart that is meant to be heard and felt by others. By asking "Do you fucking hear me?" at the end of the song, the singer is attempting to connect with listeners and bridge the gap between his own personal struggles and those of others who may be feeling similarly overwhelmed.
