Emma lives in Sint-Katelijne-Waver (near Mechelen), and goes to Hagelstein College. She took on dancing lessons from an early age and now shares the stage with her musical classmates.
She enjoys and has discovered singing, like many people, in the shower and in the bedroom. But her first steps as a true singer before a big audience were with The Voice Kids, where she performed 'Somewhere only we know', a song by Keane.
It was there that she met lots of people from the music industry including Hans Francken (producer, Musical Director) and Ingrid Mank (songwriter, vocal coach).
Together they combine their talents in a music & singing Studio, called the PopVilla.
This is where Emma knocked on the door asking Hans to try out and record a few songs such as "All I want", a Kodaline cover.
Only 2 hours later, the recording was finished! Because Emma and Hans thought it sounded 'ok', they decided to upload the self-made video to YouTube and release the track on iTunes.
Within one week, the single went straight to the top in iTunes at #1 and Emma's YouTube channel welcomed more than 300.000 visitors within that first week of release.
This success didn't go unnoticed. Clouseau (a very popular band in Belgium) invites Emma as supporting act at their 4 concerts at the Antwerp Sportpaleis with a sold-out capacity of over 15.000 visitors every night.
Emma Bale loves listening to Mumford & Sons, Kings of Leon, Keane, the Civil Wars, Imagine Dragons, Florence & the Machine, Sam Smith and George Ezra.
Emma doesn't have a musical idol because she prefers listening to special songs that move her, as she says, especially when they are from unknown artists.
She is working on her own debut EP right now...

I was thinking
So lost in the story of us like the bubble couldn't burst on us
I keep thinking
Remember when we ran away to Amsterdam
Like we had some kind of plan
So drunk when you took my hand (one of many reasons)
Drinking whiskey we stole from the bar
Fell down and we laughed too hard (one of many reasons)
So caught in the rhythm of us like the bubble couldn't burst on us
I was thinking
So lost in the story of us like the bubble couldn't burst on us
I keep thinking
Remember when we ran away to Amsterdam
Like we had some kind of plan
So drunk when you took my hand (one of many reasons)
Lying under a roof of stars
Drinking whiskey we stole from the bar
Fell down and we laughed too hard (one of many reasons)
That it always comes back
It always comes back
It always comes back to you
That it always comes back
It always comes back
It always comes back to you
One of many reasons
So caught
One of many reasons
So caught in the rhythm of us
One of many reasons
So lost in the story of us like the bubbles couldn't burst on us
Remember when we ran away to Amsterdam
Like we had some kind of plan
So drunk when you took my hand (one of many reasons)
Lying under a roof of stars
Drinking whiskey we stole from the bar
Fell down and we laughed too hard (one of many reasons)
It always comes back
It always comes back
It always comes back to you
It always comes back
It always comes back
It always comes back to you
The lyrics of Emma Bale's song "Amsterdam" paint a picture of a young, carefree romance that bloomed within the vibrant pulsating city of Amsterdam. The lyrics reveal the deep connection between the singer and her lover, and how the memories of their time together in Amsterdam continue to resonate even after they have parted ways. The singer is so caught up in the rhythm of the relationship that the bubble of their connection could not burst on them. She reminisces about the moments they spent lying under a roof of stars drinking whiskey, laughing hard and just enjoying each other's company. The moments were precious and 'one of many reasons' she cherishes their time together.
The song's theme is centered around nostalgia and memories that follow the two lovers. They ran away to Amsterdam, escaping their mundane lives, seeking adventure and finding love in each other's company. The lyrics suggest that the relationship eventually fizzled out and they went their separate ways. Still, the singer knows that this fleeting moment of love will always come back to her, and she will cherish it forever. The song celebrates the magic of first love and its bittersweet aftermath; it showcases how every relationship has its bubble, which ultimately bursts, leaving behind unforgettable memories.
