What a perfect surprize
You greet me with a kiss
I could get used to this
You think I look the best
When my hair is a mess
I can't believe you exist
Because I know you're too good to be true
I must have done something good to meet you
Cause you wrote my name across your hand
When I freak you understand
There is not a thing you miss
And I could get used to this
I'm feeling it coming over me
With you it all comes naturally
Lost the reflex to resist
And I could get used to this
You love the songs I write
You like the movies I like
There must be some kind of twist
But I could get used to this
Because you listen to me when I'm depressed
It doesn't seem to make you like me less
Cause you wrote my name across your hand
When I freak you understand
There is not a thing you miss
And I could get used to this
I'm feeling it coming over me
With you it all comes naturally
Lost the reflex to resist
And I could get used to this
If there's a dark side to you I haven't seen it
Every good thing you do feels like you mean it
Cause you wrote my name across your hand
When I freak you understand
There is not a thing you miss
And I could get used to this
I'm feeling it coming over me
With you it all comes naturally
Lost the reflex to resist
And I could get used to this
Cause you wrote my name across your hand
When I freak you understand
There is not a thing you miss
And I could get used to this
You make me breakfast in bed
When I'm mixed up in my head
You wake me with a kiss
And I could get used to this
In "I Could Get Used to This," Everlife sings about their newfound love and how every little thing in their relationship feels perfect. The song's first verse describes the arrival of a dozen roses and a perfect surprise, followed by a sweet kiss from their partner. The chorus emphasizes the feeling of contentment and desire to become accustomed to this level of perfection.
The following verse speaks of how their partner finds them beautiful, even in their "messy hair" state, and how they can't believe that someone so perfect could exist. These feelings highlight how grateful the singer is for their love and how they can't believe their good fortune.
The bridge of the song is a testament to how deep the love runs between them. It highlights how the singer believes their partner is too good to be true, and that they must have done something right to deserve such a person. They understand each other so well that the singer is willing to let their guard down and give into the love they've found.
Overall, "I Could Get Used to This" celebrates the beauty in finding a love that makes everything feel natural, and that every little thing their partner does just feels right.
