Although Ezra has been playing piano since the age of 4, he never tried to write a song until the age of 18, despite both his parents being musicians themselves. Living between Toronto and LA, Ezra has written a total of 200 tracks and performed cover versions of popular hits by his influential artists, but only officially released a couple of tracks so far.
In 2017, Ezra auditioned for and appeared on the Canadian TV competition "The Launch". He performed "Unaware by Allen Stone and Ain't No Mountain High Enough by Marvin Gaye, and was given the go ahead to record their original song "Soldier Of Love" against POESY. After being mentored by Fergie and Stephan Moccio, both artists performed their versions of the original song. In the end, POESY's version of the song was launched into mainstream radio instead of Ezra's version.
When he's not writing music, you'll find Ezra either studying the latest NHL drafts and plays, or spending time outside in nature, camping, hiking, or spending time at his family cottage.
Heaven Help Me
Ezra Jordan Lyrics

I've fallen down
The light's gone out
In this town
Streets are empty
The sidewalks bare
All too aware
All night long
I'm wondering
Are you safe and sound,
I gotta know
Where'd you go?
And are you happy now?
When nothing's wrong
It's hard to face it
Love can't fill, the empty
Spaces
Oh my dear
We'll never make it out
Cobblestones and
2 feet of snow
It feels so cold
Without you
Tiny fragments
Catch in my fingers
They stop to linger
Just for now
All night long
I'm wondering
Are you safe and sound,
I gotta know
Where'd you go?
And are you happy now?
When nothing's wrong
It's hard to face it
Love can't fill, the empty
Spaces
Oh my dear
We'll never make it out
What were we so afraid of?
Was this thing that we built so small?
That it crumbles at the first sight of rain
It's been harder for me
Than I thought it would be
Heaven help me
I've fallen down
The light's gone out
In this town
All night long
I'm wondering
Are you safe and sound,
I gotta know
Where'd you go?
And are you happy now?
When nothing's wrong
It's hard to face it
Love can't fill, the empty
Spaces
Oh my dear
We'll never make it out
Cloudy waters
Uncertain sky
At least we tried
When we could
The lyrics of Ezra Jordan's song "Heaven Help Me" convey a sense of despair and longing for a lost love. The singer feels like they have hit rock bottom and the light in their town has faded away. The streets are empty and they are acutely aware of their own flaws. Throughout the night, they wonder if the person they lost is safe and happy without them. They question where they went and if they have found happiness. The singer acknowledges that when everything seems fine, it's difficult to admit that something is wrong and that love alone cannot fill the emptiness they feel. They express a belief that they will never escape this situation and their love will never overcome the challenges they face.
