Justice
FAT-D Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
I was raised not to judge based on their ethnicity
Unfortunately, It's sad, not everyone can see
Eye to eye with me, so just listen carefully
Well think about your future I know that you've had your trauma
Drama with your baby mama maybe you should've just called her
Everybody's seeking inner peace word to Dalai Lama
Make this a full stop, no flop, don't let it be another comma
By paying the price for the mistakes of our forefathers
Preconceived beliefs based on the colour of our skin
Opportunities stripped at birth just because I had more melanin
Entitlement, look around in your environment
Years of oppression, you can't blame them for the violence
The rioting, something that would've never been
Cut the silence, It's time to shed some light on them
It's 2020 but altercations are still aplenty
How many times do we have to sit and stare like a sentry
It's the 21st century, check your modus vivendi
Talking about progress come on tell me who's really ready
To face what we've been avoiding and widen your point of view
This is overdue but you folks really have no clue
As to who you've been avoiding
Who you've been insulting or what it could result in
But I think It's time we grew to
Let go of stereotypes that our ancestors have placed
Then maybe we’ll get past insignificant things like race
If we can’t overcome that then we’ll always be on the chase
Please listen to me though my words don't carry any weight
Don't say that this is my fate
This might be the harsh reality that we're living in
But we don't have to bring it in for our children
Let's fight for less destruction and lay the path for more healing
Don't say you're leaving a legacy just to see others grieving
I’m gone
This doesn't make no sense to me
Through these trying times don’t let my words
be misconstrued
God please grant us the courage, strength and fortitude
Cleanse us of all the sins that we have accrued
Don't let this be the way that we conclude
Guide us down the path that you made for us to pursue
Let us say our prayers and rid us of this solitude
Please let our kids flourish
Please ease them of this eternal feud
In the song "Justice," FAT-D expresses his ideals of justice and equality that he was raised with, emphasizing not judging people based on their ethnicity. He acknowledges that not everyone sees eye to eye with him and urges the listener to think about their future and consider the consequences of their actions. The chorus speaks about the deep-rooted issues of racism and oppression faced by many communities because of their skin color, which has led to the riots and violence seen in modern times. FAT-D believes progress can only be made if we let go of stereotypes and prejudices, which are a result of preconceived beliefs that have been passed down from our forefathers. He urges people to reflect and examine their modus vivendi, a Latin phrase that translates to "way of living," and widen their point of view to ensure that we do not pass on the same prejudices to the next generation.
FAT-D points out that the level of violence and oppression experienced by certain communities is not something that should be tolerated in the current year. He notes that progress comes from facing what we have been avoiding and changing our ideologies. He also emphasizes that we cannot let our ancestors' prejudices be the determining factor in our lives and that we need to lay a path for more healing to build a better future for our children. FAT-D expresses his concern that although he is speaking out, his words seem to carry no weight, but urges the listener to reflect and take action.

1)Don't make the seats so small. 2)Don't charge so much for a ticket that buying 2 tickets because you are fat is a financial burden. 3)If you are going to charge people more for being wide/fat, charge per pound or inch of width, so that you only get charged twice as much if you are twice as wide.

I would cry too if I were in that situation, but if you can't fit in a seat you need to buy two so you have enough room. It's not fair to just give them two seats. Sometimes planes have those special extra large seats in the back. If you can't fit in one of those buy a first class ticket. If you can't fit in one of those, don't fly until you lose some weight.
Minerti
I'm with you on that one. I mean why should the airline have to pay because someone cant take care of their own body?

You also have to understand that it took you a long time to get as big as you are. So it will take a while to lose the weight. You will see results but they will be gradual. You just have to stay focused. You need a routine that you can stick to day in day out. My problem was the opposite, I couldn't gain weight. I developed a routine and now I'm right where I need to be weight wise. Just keep in mind this is a long term project. Hope this helps.

Actually I am 6'8" and weigh 380 lbs. I am a big person. My buying two seats is that I do not want to be crowded by anyone. If they have anything else besides coach I still buy two seats that are nice and roomy. Like I said before I get two meals, snacks, drinks, pillows, etc. LOL

In order to NOT lose money, they increase the price of everybody's ticket by $50. So now everybody who takes care of themselves, winds up paying more for somebody else's lack of self control. Again, I am a heavy guy myself, but I'm working on it, and I fail to see how people can let themselves get SOOO fat that they take up 2 seats instead of 2. I can really see the airlines putting dividers between seats, let people try to take 2 seats then
pegsbored
Sad thing is the seats have shrunken to about 2/3 the size they used to be in the 60's and 70's. The airlines need to be regulated on how many sardines they can pack in a can.
Amator Fati
I agree, this is way too much regulation by government, it's just plain unfair.
My Queen
i think it's wrong as well that we all have the same luggage allowance. i could be checking in my bag and someone almost 3 times my weight [i'm 126 pounds] is checking in the same weight of luggage as me. Where's the fairness in that? Man i love TYT! <3
damo2353
Me too. I would hate to sit next to someone who takes up half of my seat on a long distance plane trip.
