Things seem to constantly slip out of my grasp, no matter how hard I try to hold on to them.

Where my head been
I am reflecting on my mental state and how it has been affected by my experiences.

Since this needle took a spin
I am possibly referring to drug use or some other self-destructive behavior that has taken a toll on me.

And a stitch out of my thoughts
My mind has become frayed and disconnected, and I feel like I am losing my grip on reality.

When I had my life in place
I remember a time when I felt more secure and in control of my life.

I can't get it together
Despite my efforts to regain stability, I feel like I am still falling apart.

I am pleading with someone to help me find a way out of my predicament.

There's less and less inside of me
I am losing pieces of myself, my values, and my identity.

Every day, I feel like I am eroding and becoming less whole.

I want to escape my problems and be sheltered from the world around me.

I feel like my life is full of leaks and losses, and I can't seem to patch them up.
