Foy often uses alternative tunings for his guitar, for example the song 'Indiscriminate Act of Kindness' he uses the tuning CGDGCe.

Man...I’ll tell you a little story and say thanks. My ‘other’ mom is dying of Lou Gehrig’s disease. She’s in late stages and can’t move her body now. She’s one of the biggest music fans I’ve ever known and chose soundtracks for various surf films over the years. I laid down next to her in bed today and played this.
