IT'S ALRIGHT
Fractures Lyrics

IT'S ALRIGHT, IT'S ALRIGHT
IT'S ALRIGHT, IT'S ALRIGHT
IT'S ALRIGHT, IT'S ALRIGHT
IT'S ALRIGHT, IT'S ALRIGHT

IT'S ALRIGHT, IT'S ALRIGHT
You see the fault lines, started panicking
IT'S ALRIGHT, IT'S ALRIGHT
You confide in the low light, you're so kind
You're caught up in the crossfire
IT'S ALRIGHT, IT'S ALRIGHT

Don't get dragged through
Don't be consumed
Don't catch it through
Don't be consumed

Get out the tight robes
Give her asked clothes
Better know you're falling
Follow your shadow
Lost count of the die slows
And the man hoes fighting in the morning
Acting like you don't know

Don't get dragged through
Don't be consumed
Don't catch it through
Don't be consumed

IT'S ALRIGHT, IT'S ALRIGHT
IT'S ALRIGHT, IT'S ALRIGHT

IT'S ALRIGHT, IT'S ALRIGHT
IT'S ALRIGHT, IT'S ALRIGHT

Overall Meaning

Fractures's song "It's Alright" has a repetitive chorus of "It's Alright" which helps to calm those who are worried or panicking. The lyrics seem to convey a message of reassurance to someone who is in the midst of conflict and chaos. The opening lines, "You see the fault lines, started panicking" suggests that someone has noticed the warning signs of a problem and are starting to feel anxious. The repeated phrases of "Don't get dragged through" and "Don't be consumed" suggest that the person may be at risk of losing themselves in the situation and that they need to stay level-headed.

The lyrics also seem to suggest that the person is feeling isolated and unsupported, but that they can confide in someone, "You confide in the low light, you're so kind". The lines, "Get out the tight robes, Give her asked clothes, Better know you're falling" suggests that the person needs to let go of any baggage or burdens and try to move forward. They need to "Follow your shadow" and find their direction.

This is the song I listen to whenever my panic attacks get too bad or when I hit rock bottom. Been listening to this for almost 4 years now, and it still has the power to calm me down or make me cry. 4 years and I’m still moved by this. One of the most amazing songs I’ve ever come across in my life.

The gifted s2 ep04 brought me ...when Andy hurt his sister and they realized that he has officially turned his back on them. Life is tough many will turn their backs on you but don’t be disheartened, a brighter day awaits you...keep the hope n faith, you’ll get through it ..it’s alright, may not be the way you hoped for but you’ll get through

Bro you forgot the actual scene that tore me apart emotionally speaking...... the anguish that Andy's father went through when his powers started acting up and he couldn't even comfort his wife.
