Inditex
Francisco Nixon Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

Trabajas en Inditex,
más guapa no puedes ser,
parada en la puerta de al lado,
me han dicho que te habías mudado.

Trabajas en Inditex,
doblando ropa tal vez.
Si coincidimos en el supermercado,
ese el día mejor del calendario.

Seguramente estás sola,
ya que eres nueva en la ciudad.
Cualquier día de estos si me atrevo
te invito a ir a bailar,
te invito a ir a bailar.

Trabajas en Inditex,
el mundo está a tus pies,
Dejando a mis problemas a un lado,
yo sé que puedo ser tu aliado.

Trabajas en Inditex,
y estás más rica que, que ...
Invítame a tu cumpleaños,
prometo ser todo aquello
que estás buscando.

Seguramente estás sola,
ya que eres nueva en la ciudad.
Cualquier día de estos si me atrevo
te invito a ir a bailar,
te invito a ir a bailar,
te invito a ir a bailar,
cualquier día de estos
te invito a ir a bailar,

cualquier día de estos
te invito a ir a bailar.

Overall Meaning

The lyrics in Francisco Nixon's song Inditex speak of a man's infatuation with a woman who works at the popular Spanish clothing brand, Inditex. The lyrics suggest that the woman is new to the city and quite a catch, as she is working for a high-end brand and is also very attractive. The man seems to be hoping for an opportunity to meet her someday, and suggests that they could potentially run into each other at a grocery store. He even goes on to say that if he does muster the courage to speak to her, he will invite her out to go dancing.

The lyrics suggest that the man is enamored with the idea of this woman and what she represents: beauty, success, and independence. The repetition of the line "Seguramente estás sola, ya que eres nueva en la ciudad”(Surely you are alone, since you are new in town) suggests that the man believes the woman is in a vulnerable position, and is implying that he could be her protector or savior. Overall, the lyrics to Inditex speak to the universal desire to connect with someone we find attractive and to escape our daily problems through the prospect of romance.
