He has appeared in many Hollywood films and television series.
He wrote and performed "Far From Over" for the 1983 film Staying Alive. A self-titled album soon followed from RSO, in the style of 1980s pop.
Frank Stallone has worked as a singer in the tradition of American big band jazz and popular music, in a vocal style reminiscent of his idol Frank Sinatra. He tours with his own orchestra under conductor Paul Vesco, and has also worked with conductors Sammy Nestico and Billy May. Stallone has released a number of albums, including Day In Day Out with Sammy Nestico (1991; A1 Records: FSTCD1) and "Close Your Eyes" with Billy May (1996; Coolnote).
Frank Stallone is also an amateur boxer and appeared as a boxing consultant on the NBC reality television series The Contender in 2005. Frank Stallone has appeared on the Howard Stern Radio and TV show on several occasions. During one appearance on the Howard Stern Show, Frank Stallone had a boxing match with TV reporter Geraldo Rivera; Frank Stallone won the bout. Stallone later went on to become the heavyweight champion. He was defeated by "Bikechain" Kirk in 2006 and lost his belt. It was the first and only loss of his career.
Stallone was also used as a punchline by Norm MacDonald on Saturday Night Live's Weekend Update, often inserting Stallone's name into the end of news stories in a ridiculing manner. One example would be rhetorically asking the audience who was responsible for some sort of adverse event or circumstance, "..you guessed it: Frank Stallone." Another example, "The most popular toy of 1996: 'Tickle Me Elmo'. And the least popular toy of 1996, you guessed it: 'Tickle Me Frank Stallone'."

Oh Darlin'
I wish you weren′t lying
When you said that you're leaving me Darlin'
I know it′s my pride
That stands in the
I′m humbled and kneeling
I never thought I'll feel this way
I really wanna learn to say:
Oh my Darlin′, Oh my Darlin'
Oh my Darlin′
I know what you thinking
And I know what the answer is, Darlin'
I′m feel like I'm sinking
Cause is no love inside of me I know!
We can make it o'right
I never thought I′ll feel this way
I really wanna learn to say:
So come on Darlin′
Don't pull me out!
Please let me in!
You are the reason
I should be in your arms, in your arms!
I know, we can make it o′right... Yeah!
I never thought I'll feel this way
I really wanna learn to say:
Oh my Darlin!
Uh, di di di Darlin′
Darlin'
Darlin′ (Should we'll keep on trying?)
Darlin'
Darlin′ (Should we′ll keep on trying?)
Na, Na, Na, Na, Na, Na, Na, Na, Na Yeah!
Darlin' (Should we′ll keep on trying?)
In Frank Stallone's song "Darlin'," he sings about a relationship that is falling apart and how he wishes his significant other wasn't lying when she said she was leaving him. The lyrics express his regrets and his acknowledgement that it's his pride that's getting in the way of his emotions for her. He admits that he never thought he would feel this way, but now he wants to learn to say things like "Oh my darlin'" because he wants to open up to her and make things right.
Throughout the song, the lyrics show the singer's desperation and his desire to fix the relationship. He knows what she's thinking and he feels like he's sinking because there's no love left inside of him. However, he believes that they can make it alright, and he pleads with her not to pull him out and to let him back in. The repetition of "Darlin'" at the end of the song shows that he's willing to keep on trying to make things work, but it's ultimately up to the both of them to make the decision to continue with the relationship or to end it.
Overall, the lyrics of "Darlin'" convey a sense of remorse and urgency, and the message of the song is the importance of communication and the desire to fix a relationship that is breaking down.
