The really small orchestra used for this first film brings the chills much closer to audience, unlike the the full orchestra used for the seconded film and recycled onward. Also the track "Overturned Ice-cream Truck" was amazingly creepy.

Like the film itself the music for "Phantasm"is really underated....so it`s great to hear some of it.

Great movie, great theme. At the end when the Tall man pulled the kid through the mirror, that scared the hell out of me when I was a kid and saw it on late night TV.

Barnabus Phibes I agree! Lol I haven't got to see all of the Phantasm movies! I think what I have seen, they are awesome! And they all make me jump and scare the hell out of me as well, the first and second phnatasms sacred me especially...but I would watch them again! Lol
