Walk With Me
G.S. Advance Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

She walks with the moon, cause you always see her
She walks with the moon, you're always there
You light up her path, to guide her home
She walks with the moon, she follows the glow
So when the night falls, you turn into light
She hear her name called, into the night
As she walks, she walks with the moon
He dreams with the wind, you touch his skin
He dream with the wind, you take him away
Cause he's not to proud, to lay his head down
He dreams with the wind, to flow with the sound
So when the night falls, you turn into light
He hears his name called, into the night
As he walks, he walks with the moon
They laugh in the sun, you warm their hearts
They laugh in the sun, they've found their way home
So when the night falls, you turn into light
They hear their name called, into the night

As they walk, they walk with the moon
As they walk, they walk with the moon

Overall Meaning

The lyrics of "Walk with Me" by G.S. Advance depict a beautiful and intimate connection between individuals and the natural world, particularly the moon. The song suggests that the moon serves as a guiding force, providing comfort, illumination, and a sense of direction to those who walk with it.

In the first verse, the lyrics describe a person who walks with the moon, highlighting the constant presence of the moon in their life. The moon becomes a symbol of guidance and familiarity as it lights up their path and leads them home. The person feels a deep connection to the moon, following its glow and finding solace in its presence. The night time, when the moon is most visible, transforms the person into light, and they feel an ethereal calling as they walk with the moon.

The second verse focuses on another individual who dreams with the wind. The wind, like the moon, becomes a source of inspiration and escape for this person. Through their dreams, they are carried away by the wind, experiencing a sense of freedom and release. Similar to the first verse, the night time brings about a transformation where the wind, or the dream that it represents, turns into light. The person hears their name called, possibly a metaphor for finding their true purpose or existence, and they walk with the moon in their dreams.

In the final verse, the lyrics refer to a collective "they" who laugh in the sun. This suggests a group of people who have found a sense of contentment and happiness in their lives. The sun becomes their source of warmth and positivity, helping them find their way home, both metaphorically and literally. Just like in the previous verses, the night time brings transformation, where the sun turns into light. The collective "they" also hear their name called, implying a sense of individuality and personal connection, and they too walk with the moon.

Overall, "Walk with Me" conveys a profound connection between individuals and their environment, highlighting the role of the moon, wind, and sun as sources of guidance, inspiration, and comfort.

Ahah! Yes, this I agree with. clagger -> claw -> drop -> draw -> scs3 (if focus 3) is the way to go; all my best runtimes utilize this
This vid mainly showcases niche opportunities to snipe with TCS, nothing more. It's for the stylepoints and risk, not dps or consistency

But as reluctant as I am to say this, I'll have to disagree with "frostcraft which most GS should be using". I'm a huge Frostcraft enthusiast after all. Unless MHW has gotten new content after Fatalis to deviate the meta (I haven't played since 2020 so do enlighten me if I'm outdated as hell lmao), it wasn't the optimal build to go with no matter the monster. If you check the GS *TA wiki world record runtimes on every monster, frostcraft builds never make it to the top 10s

Since I myself love FC, I did my best to make it work. Against kirin, jang, and tiggy, testing every variation of optimal charging I possibly could (full draws, slinger into full tcs, half charges, etc.) but can never beat my runtimes when on the meta crit build

But just to share and to show I ain't talkin outta my arse, here's an unlisted vid of one of my more optimally executed FC runs against Kirin "/watch?v=NuXDqwrqIn0". What I found to be most effective, at least against Kirin, is draw2's into slinger tcs3's
This attack input arrangement had the best cleartimes on average. I have to reiterate that I have tried so, so many variations of FC playstyles. Even that remark is a damn understatement lol. It was purgatory

Sorry for the wall of text, I haven't talked about MHW in a while and just wanted to let loose. Thanks for listening to my TED talk

Dude this got slept on, great guide. I'm subbing in case you drop anymore GS vids, there's a lack of good GS tutorial/ strategy videos.
Also had never heard of the "5 flail" strategy till I seen your post on reddit, good stuff dude

Bread

Thanks! I'll maybe elaborate on the 5 flail thing for a video, but a video on monster-specific staggerlocking or sniping is something I've had my mind on

Either that or just tips for freestyling with a GS for those that don't wanna bring out their calculators mid hunt, heh

Just started playing Greatsword, this has been very helpful! Short and to the point as well

Agarius Quin

I genuinely appreciate your help my guy

As someone who plays GS for fun and for satisfaction... this was amazing. You deserve more subs for this.

How do you know where the head is going to be after the "clagger"?

e

if you get a clagger and can't do a slinger burst TCS, claw into get off and uncharged draw->strong charge (either lvl 2 or 3) is better. It will also refill frostcraft which most GS should be using.

After trying these i gotta say, great guide. But i cant seem to manage the opener tcs. Somehow the monsters dont react to my slinger shots. Is the problem my distance?
