Their most famous work is the 2000 international hit I See You Baby, remixed by Fatboy Slim in the Big Beat style -- with the repeated chorus line "Shakin' that ass," as heard in Renault Mégane advertisements. Vocals were provided by Ibiza-based DJ Gram'Ma Funk. Incidentally, this track was also recorded with the chorus line "Shakin' that thang" as a radio edit. While this is their most famous work, they have also produced less mainstream songs which are often featured in television adverts.
In the early part-of 2008 after parting company with Sony BMG, Groove Armada signed an "all encompassing deal" with the Bacardi rum brand that allows them to use GA's tracks for adverts. For more information, read Bands turn to brands in new deals

Body basic, it won't dance more though
Dip, galang, stand up
Wine pon yah man and ya hold 'em tough
So we just dip, (Get down, get down)
Galang, (Feel, get down)
Stand up, (Get down, get down)
Girls ah sit down and watch me
They want them stooshie
Movement do I look bashie
And me stooshie want to scratch me
Me have big booty
They sweet like tutti frutti
Licks you dance like cherry
Angels and that's why I'm screeching
What I wait among the pressure
Jump and sing flair and pattern
Body freeze and I pitch you up
Then boy, easy flick her off
'Cause of this some girls get envy
Even them try mess up your party
Love, but be warned if you beat me
There is no need to compete
So we just dip, (Get down, get down)
Galang, (Feel, get down)
Stand up, (Get down, get down)
Wine pon yah man and ya hold 'em tough
So we just dip, (Get down, get down)
Galang, (Feel, get down)
Stand up, (Get down, get down)
Wine pon yah man and ya hold 'em tough
So me ah chill in the VIP suite
See my DJ playing my beat
Every newscast adverting me
The dancefloor is where we will meet
All over the world, they feel it
Is so sweet, MIB
Pop Style, well I'm free
All jealousy, is for me
Their contribution fell on the finite
Why is me smelly? Cos of my feet
Live out of love alit by the magic
Then when I boom, then when I freak
Find my crumb out, out of my teeth
Back in the dancehall style for a repeat
Bow, now break to be the elite
You nuh see't how me nice and sweet
So we just dip, (Get down, get down)
Galang, (Feel, get down)
Stand up, (Get down, get down)
Wine pon yah man and ya hold 'em tough
So we just dip, (Get down, get down)
Galang, (Feel, get down)
Stand up, (Get down, get down)
Wine pon yah man and ya hold 'em tough

The lyrics to Groove Armada's "Get Down" speak to the joy of dancing and living in the moment. The chorus, "So we just dip, galang, stand up, wine pon yah man and ya hold 'em tough," encourages listeners to let go and enjoy themselves on the dance floor. The verses, sung by a female vocalist, showcase the confidence and empowerment that come with dancing freely, expressing oneself, and ignoring the judgment of others. The lyrics also reference jealousy and competition between women, warning against such negative attitudes and celebrating the importance of self-love.
The repetitive nature of the chorus emphasizes the simplicity of the message: just dance and have fun. The use of Jamaican patois, such as "wine pon yah man," adds a playful and exotic feel to the song, reminding listeners of the universal language of music and dance. The use of contrasting adjectives and phrases, such as "stooshie" and "bashie," "big booty" and "sweet like tutti frutti," creates an interesting and dynamic vocabulary that adds to the playful tone of the song.
Overall, "Get Down" is a fun, upbeat song that encourages listeners to let go of their inhibitions and dance like no one's watching.
