Their most famous work is the 2000 international hit I See You Baby, remixed by Fatboy Slim in the Big Beat style -- with the repeated chorus line "Shakin' that ass," as heard in Renault Mégane advertisements. Vocals were provided by Ibiza-based DJ Gram'Ma Funk. Incidentally, this track was also recorded with the chorus line "Shakin' that thang" as a radio edit. While this is their most famous work, they have also produced less mainstream songs which are often featured in television adverts.
In the early part-of 2008 after parting company with Sony BMG, Groove Armada signed an "all encompassing deal" with the Bacardi rum brand that allows them to use GA's tracks for adverts. For more information, read Bands turn to brands in new deals

But when you don't need them
You send them off
Yeah, you send them off
Do what you think you should do
Leave them like you said you would do
But you never stop
Better fight
You better fight, yeah
You better fight
If you, if you stand up
Look me in the eye, sister
We're just mocked by doofus
I am a stranger
Giving it up against the wall
Up against the wall
Up against the wall
You don't own me
Oh, you don't let it be
Just 'cause you're lost
Don't cut off your arm
Before it comes now
Before it comes down
Before it comes down
Are you ready for
Look me in the eye, sister
We're just mocked by doofus
I am a stranger
Giving it up against the wall
Up against the wall
Up against the wall
Up against the wall
Up against the
Before it comes now
Before it comes down
Before it comes down
Are you ready for
Ready for
Don't you blame it on me
Don't you blame it on me
Look me in the eye, sister
We're just mocked by doofus
I am a stranger
Giving it up against the wall
Up against the wall
Up against the wall
Up against the wall
Up against the
I think you know about it
Think you know about it
Think you know about it
Think you know about it
Think you know
Think you know
Look me in the eye, sister
Look me in the eye, sister
Think you know about it

The lyrics to Groove Armada's "Look Me in the Eye Sister" are a call to action, urging someone to stand up for what they believe in and fight against those who try to put them down. The first verse describes the conflict between what someone says and what they actually do. They claim they don't need help but then send others away when they offer it. The chorus then comes in, with the singer imploring the listener - referred to as "sister" - to stand strong and keep fighting.
The second verse is a warning against losing oneself in the struggle. The lyrics suggest that being lost doesn't mean giving up, and urge against self-harm. The chorus repeats, reminding the listener of the importance of standing up and fighting, and finally, the song ends with a series of repetitions of the phrase "think you know about it" and "look me in the eye, sister," solidifying the song's message of strength and determination.
