Their most famous work is the 2000 international hit I See You Baby, remixed by Fatboy Slim in the Big Beat style -- with the repeated chorus line "Shakin' that ass," as heard in Renault Mégane advertisements. Vocals were provided by Ibiza-based DJ Gram'Ma Funk. Incidentally, this track was also recorded with the chorus line "Shakin' that thang" as a radio edit. While this is their most famous work, they have also produced less mainstream songs which are often featured in television adverts.
In the early part-of 2008 after parting company with Sony BMG, Groove Armada signed an "all encompassing deal" with the Bacardi rum brand that allows them to use GA's tracks for adverts. For more information, read Bands turn to brands in new deals

GROOVE ARMADA Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
Because they come alive
My visions of the city street
All of electrify
I feel your heat
I never wanna let you go
I rock too this beat
Yeah you can write me a love letter
But there's nothing to say
Don't wanna take a chance on your paper romance anyway
Yea you can rub it off much better
If you come away
My golden heart beats for you
My golden heart beats for two
I feel my pain
The time it takes
For us to change
Its gonna happen anyway
I feel your heat
I never wanna let you go
I rock to this beat
I'm standing here to let you know
Yeah you can write me a love letter
But there's nothing to say
Don't wanna take a chance on your paper romance anyway
Yea you can rub it off much better
If you come away
Yeah you can write me a love letter
But there's nothing to say
Don't wanna take a chance on your paper romance anyway
Yeah you can write me a love letter
But there's nothing to say
Don't wanna take a chance on your paper romance anyway
Yea you can rub it off much better
If you come away
The opening lines of Groove Armada's "Paper Romance" conjure up the vision of a bustling, vibrant city, its energy coursing through the air. The singer is caught up in this heady environment, moved by the pulsating beat and electrifying atmosphere. It's a vivid sensory experience for him, and it's clear that he's utterly captivated by it. The lyrics are rife with sensuous imagery and heightened emotions, adding to the intensity of the moment.
As the song progresses, the singer's focus turns to a specific person, someone whose "heat" he can feel. It's an intense physical attraction, and he's so caught up in it that he never wants to let go. Despite this, he's weary of "paper romance" - something that feels insubstantial and fleeting, like a love letter that can easily be discarded. He's willing to take a chance on something real, though, something that's deeper and more lasting. It's a powerful message that speaks to the difference between genuine, heartfelt connections and superficial attractions that fizzle out quickly.
Overall, "Paper Romance" is a song about the electric thrill of experiencing life and love in all their intensity. The lyrics paint a vibrant, sensual picture of a person caught up in the moment, and their yearning for something more meaningful is palpable throughout.
