Their most famous work is the 2000 international hit I See You Baby, remixed by Fatboy Slim in the Big Beat style -- with the repeated chorus line "Shakin' that ass," as heard in Renault Mégane advertisements. Vocals were provided by Ibiza-based DJ Gram'Ma Funk. Incidentally, this track was also recorded with the chorus line "Shakin' that thang" as a radio edit. While this is their most famous work, they have also produced less mainstream songs which are often featured in television adverts.
In the early part-of 2008 after parting company with Sony BMG, Groove Armada signed an "all encompassing deal" with the Bacardi rum brand that allows them to use GA's tracks for adverts. For more information, read Bands turn to brands in new deals

Take Me Home
GROOVE ARMADA Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
I need you, I plead you to come through.
Take the lead, you know that I'm right behind you.
I loved you and what do I get back, still not, the feeling you get
When there's someone for you
Take me home, take me home.
It's a cold world, a lone world, it's hard for a girl,
I wish you'd open up your eyes,
See my pain through all the lies,
In this room I wish I'd die,
Though my tears I do not cry.
Take me home.
Is this the end, you mess up, had back luck,
And take it out on me.
You reprimand me,
My choices, the voices, the way I live my life.
I pray to the angels, stand by me, beside me,
Protect me from pain, and the darkness around.
Take me home, take me home
I'm alone here, have no fear, I'm safe by the lone.
It's a cold world, a lone world, it's hard for a girl,
I wish you'd open up your eyes,
See my pain through all the lies,
In this room I wish I'd die,
Though my tears, I will not cry.
Take me home
Take me home.
Take me home.
Take me home.
The lyrics of Groove Armada's song "Take Me Home" convey a message of loneliness and pain. The singer of the song pleads for someone to follow them and take them home. They feel alone and abandoned in a cold, cruel world, where it's hard for a girl to survive. The singer wishes for understanding and compassion, hoping that someone will take the time to really see her and feel her pain.
The lyrics speak deeply to anyone who has ever felt lost and alone in a world that doesn't seem to care. The song paints a vivid picture of the emotional pain that comes from feeling misunderstood and abandoned. The song's protagonist is reaching out for help, pleading for someone to see her and take her home.
The repetition of the chorus highlights the desperation in the singer's plea, and the haunting melody underscores the sadness at the heart of the lyrics. The song captures the essence of human vulnerability and the deep connection we all crave as social beings.
