There's Something About That Name
Gloria Gaither Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

Jesus, Jesus, Jesus; there's just something about that name.
Master, Savior, Jesus, like the fragrance after the rain;
Jesus, Jesus, Jesus, let all Heaven and earth proclaim
Kings and kingdoms will all pass away,
But there's something about that name.
Kings and kingdoms will all pass away,
But there's something about that name.

This is the most beautiful rendition of this song I've ever heard. It really touches your heart. Every time we speak Jesus' name Satan trembles and I love that, because that's how powerful the name of Jesus is. He paid the price for ALL of our sins so we could be saved from burning in hell for eternity. All we have to do is ask Jesus to come into our heart & life and ask forgiveness, but it's a DAILY walk with God. When the devil tempts us, we can command him to get behind us, and in the name of Jesus he HAS to flee. May God bless everyone who reads this. Thank God for sending his son Jesus to die on the cross for our sins. Thank you Jesus! I know this is long, but it comes from the love in my heart for others.
