Hail The Sun formed with four friends who have been playing together for almost a decade. The sound they formed has a seductive touch, that invites ones ears to come along. Each band member brings their own style to the party, which forms a chemistry that is much more than a compound. Influences include only life, and modern mishaps and rendezvous. Musically and lyrically these guys go at it more than rabbits, more and more defining a unique sound. As the globe keeps turning, the sun keeps shining, and they keep hailing, harder than ice.

Hail the Sun Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
Keeping the noose tight on her skin
God will save her, her father's Lucifer, they say
Oh do they
Does that make it okay?
Sin finds the culprit
Unexplained circumstances cause people to fear,
Up in the bedroom she's seeing ghosts
Demons in clothes, people she knows
Swear on the bible that earns their trust
Fractions of fiction dismissed so start your hunt
Terror is the grease that runs the system (let 'em burn)
To assist them in control manipulation (let 'em burn)
We submit, we submit
Aren't we all just okay?
Who's the real culprit?
No one mentions the secret intention
You'd lose your mind, you'd lose your mind
Bind us, strip us, crush us
Burning flesh
Nobody can stand the smell
Capture and torture
Victims that we're afraid of
Fear will sell
Then murder is justified
Now who's the monster (let 'em burn)
Now who's the monster
Terror is the grease that runs the system (let 'em burn)
To assist them in control manipulation (let 'em burn)
We submit, we submit
Cold sweat dripping
I was on their radar
Scaffold gripping
We're all on their radar
Callous crimes intimidate
Countless times intoxicate
(We submit)
Let them pray, let them pray for us
Let them pray, let them pray for us
Evil tips the scale
Burning flesh
Nobody can stand the smell
Capture and torture
Victims that we're afraid of
Fear will sell
Then murder is justified
Bodies swaying
Aren't worth saving
They all make us watch
And as I hung there, I noticed how you
How you all just stood there
Like stone you stood there
And as I hung there, I noticed how you
How you all just stood there
The fear kept you there
And I watched you
Callous crimes intimidate
Countless times intoxicate
Let them pray, let them pray for us
Let them pray, let them pray for us
Evil tips the scale
The lyrics to Hail the Sun's Hanging Revelation describe a person who is being hanged and how everyone around is just watching. The first verse talks about how this person is swinging against the wind while the noose is tight on their skin. The lyrics then mention how the person's father is believed to be Lucifer, but questions whether this makes the situation okay. The second verse describes how the person being hanged sees ghosts and demons in their bedroom and how people who they trust swear on the bible that it's just fractions of fiction. The bridge then talks about how terror is the grease that runs the system, and how it is used to assist control manipulation, causing people to submit. The chorus repeats several times, with a focus on the justification of murder and how fear is used to sell it. The song ends with the person being hanged noticing that those around them are just standing there and watching, and how the fear is keeping them in place.

Donovan Melero is my idol. How he sings those beautiful, but sometimes harsh in-your-face vocals, while playing such upbeat, sometimes rather intricate rhythms, on the drums at the same time is unbelievable. That would be a show all on its own. I really want to see these guys live.
