Seeing the darker or hidden sides of people or situations that others may not recognize or acknowledge.

Asking who is truly responsible for the problems or issues we face.

People often conceal their true motives or intentions, making it difficult to discern the truth.

The stress or uncertainty of trying to uncover hidden motives or agendas can be mentally exhausting or overwhelming.

Feeling helpless in the face of external forces or circumstances that we cannot control.

The intense pain and suffering that people may experience when they are subjected to violence or torture.

The physical and emotional disgust and revulsion that people feel when they witness or experience violence or brutality.

Victims that we're afraid of
The fear and uncertainty that people may experience when they are persecuted or oppressed by those in power.

Manipulating or exploiting people's fears and insecurities in order to control or profit from them.

Then murder is justified
Justifying extreme or violent actions against others based on irrational or false beliefs or ideologies.

The awful sight of people suffering and dying as a result of violence and oppression.

Aren't worth saving
The belief that some people are expendable or undeserving of compassion or protection.

They all make us watch
The way in which those in power use the media and other forms of communication to control or manipulate public opinion and perception.

The realization that others may be complicit in or indifferent to our suffering or oppression.

The way in which others remain emotionally detached or unresponsive in the face of human suffering and misery.

The fear kept you there
The way in which fear and uncertainty can cause us to freeze or become paralyzed in the face of danger or violence.

Callous crimes intimidate
The acts of violence or brutality committed against others can create a culture of fear and intimidation that make it difficult to challenge those in power.

Countless times intoxicate
The way in which our perceptions and beliefs can be influenced or manipulated by those in power to further their own agenda or interests.

Let them pray, let them pray for us
The belief that spiritual or divine intervention is often our only hope or salvation in the face of oppression or violence.

Evil tips the scale
The way in which the forces of oppression and violence tend to be more powerful or dominant than those of compassion and empathy.
