Harmful Lyrics

Deep in the hole I can't find a different soul Your miracle overload
What if what is isn't true? Does that mean we've got to loose
I keep on losing you and finding you It's better to stay on your own
My time is having its way with me I'm living a lie to move on
I don't know anything about the day after, let's keep on and we will see
I may come up with a tremendous disaster but you can always count on me
I close my eyes? you're so beautiful Who am I to need you when I'm down again
I don't know anything about the day after, let's keep on and we will see
I may come up with a tremendous disaster but you can always count on
me
The song "1 Lifetime" by Harmful appears to be a reflection on the complexities of relationships and the uncertainty that comes with them. The lyrics express the feeling of being lost and confused in a romantic relationship, with lines like "tears in my eyes, I'm down again" and "confused and denied, I don't want to pretend to know where it begins and where it ends." The singer seems to feel like they are constantly losing and finding their partner, but ultimately concludes that it is "better to stay on your own."
The chorus repeats the lines "I don't know anything about the day after, let's keep on and we will see / I may come up with a tremendous disaster but you can always count on me." This suggests a willingness to take risks and face whatever consequences come, as long as the partner can rely on the singer's commitment to the relationship.
Overall, the song seems to convey a sense of anxiety and uncertainty in relationships, while also expressing a desire to remain committed and present.
