Culprit
Harmful Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
The opening lines of Harmful's song "Culprit" deal with themes of self-reflection and self-doubt. The singer appears to be questioning their own worth and whether or not they are truly pathetic. The use of the word "culprit" implies a sense of guilt or responsibility for something, but it's unclear what that might be. The following lines seem to suggest that the singer is considering their own mortality, reflected in the use of the word "epitaph". The reference to a "partial pate" could suggest a feeling of incompleteness or inadequacy within oneself. Altogether, the lyrics suggest an internal struggle with one's own sense of value and identity.
