Hatsune Miku (初音ミク, Hatsune Miku) is the first installment in the Vocaloid Character Vocal Series released on August 31, 2007. The name of the title and the character of the software was chosen by combining Hatsu (初, First), Ne (音, Sound), and Miku (未来, Future). The data for the voice was created by actually sampling the voice of Saki Fujita, a Japanese voice actress. Unlike general purpose speech synthesizers, the software is tuned to create J-pop songs commonly heard in anime, but it is possible to create songs from other genres.

Some also say it's because of depiction of death in the song, but guess we'll never know lol.

Thr entire PV doesn't match with the song at all. I'm not sure if you've seen the original PV for this song, but it's very different.

The story and original PV is about a boy who is hanging out with a friend on a "hot summer day" then proceeds to watch her get hit by a truck and die. The rest of the song reveals he's stuck in a never-ending loop and constantly watching her die despite his attempts to save her.

The last part of the song, which is when Miku manages to dodge all of her accidents and make it to the concert is actually about how the boy throws himself in front of the truck while pushing his friend out of the way. So he ended up dying instead of her. He believes he might've ended the loop, only for the end of the song to reveal that the friend is stuck in the same loop, with the boy being the one who constantly dies.

@Hatsune Miku Both Eh? Ah, sou, Romeo and Cinderella, Seisou Bakuretsu Boy, and Gigantic OTN (PDX) are sexual/related to sex yet they're in the game. This is the Happiness and Peace of Mind Committee (which has pretty explicit and dark lyrics knowing it's from Hachi) is in the game. Musunde Hiraite, Rasetsu to Mukuro is about a child-eating demon yet it's in the game. Rolling Girl which is about bullying and suicide is in the game. Gothic and Loneliness has some pretty dark theme yet it's in the game.

It's not about the theme or lyrics, imo. SEGA can go around that wall and still make a PV out of it despite being dark (for example, World's End Dancehall and Hitorinbo Envy). But if it's copyrighted/prohibited, it probably won't get any PV. Ever.

1:08 Ok... She's sitting, and that's the truck.
1:13 Apparently she has no broken bones, how convenient.
1:22 Died due to a falling electric pole, which have way less mass and less velocity than the truck (well the electricity is also a factor tho.)

Now if I was being serious, this was a different story, there was no girl in the Project DIVA F version besides miku (To my knowledge.) considering that it has the same effect (restarting the day) it has a different goal in charge, its not about saving someone, its about saving a cat which was originally from the actual PV, and the person in the scene sacrificing himself over and over to save it, I like the diva F version more because it actually has an ENDING instead of a continuous loop in the original. and they made the railing into a death at 2:46 which was different than the original aswell, theres alot more changes but I'm sure alot of people realize them, if I was to name the biggest difference. It's the fact that a sacrifice is not needed to complete the day. 3:08 Unless yall wanna claim miku as a sacrifice at 3:54

Looping the video kinda makes it seem like mikus attempts never really did stop tbh. Ik it didn't, and she still lives through it but like if you loop it.
