Beginning at a young age, Warner wrote her first song at 14 and began recording at 16. While attending Northwestern University, Hayes dedicated her time to breaking into the business. When she wasn’t busy recording or writing, Warner was avidly growing her social media platform amassing over 40k organic followers on TikTok and reeling in 1 million views in 2022 alone.
Her first-recorded songs “Like You’re In Mine” and “Messy” notably racked up hundreds of thousands of streams and views and were featured on a handful of algorithmic playlists and editorials.
Throughout 2022, Warner has opened up for a string of sold-out shows for diamond-selling hip-hop superstar Fetty Wap and performed at the Jonas Group Entertainment’s showcase in Las Vegas in conjunction with the iHeartRadio Music Festival. She is gearing up to perform as main support for Lewis Capaldi at the Coca-Cola Arena in Dubai this November.
Warner has written for several film and television networks including Netflix, Disney, Nickelodeon, Paramount and Fox. Titles include the Descendants franchise and the team theme for the Golden State Warriors.
Working with some of today's top pop producers, Warner’s rousing and enthralling sound is designed for every mood. Delivering new music for New York and pop at large, Warner creates electrifying beats to jump around and scream to and melodic strains to cry in your car to. A spark plug, hell bent on asserting a strong-willed and driven attitude, Warner is slated to release her first EP in the Spring of 2023 with two singles and a video on the way.

I wish you weren′t talking and your jokes aren't funny
I see you and I′m seasick
Go be yourself somewhere else, am I gonna get lucky?
But maybe, I don't mean it
And maybe you could pull my hair like I'm your favorite bully
Shut up!
About to now, friends say I should bite my tongue
Or maybe yours, put my mouth all over you like, uh
I′m saying I could punch you thinking that I love you
Better show you why I can't shut up
Na-na-na-na-na
Na-na-na, na-na-na-na
Na-na-na-na-na
Na-na-na, na-na-na-na
Think it′s kind of fun making fun of your feelings
And never giving up mine
I guess I'm feeling like it′s better to be mean, than just say what I mean
And be happy you can't read my mind
I, I can′t
Shut up!
About to now, friends say I should bite my tongue
Or maybe yours, put my mouth all over you like, uh
I'm saying I could punch you thinking that I love you
Better show you why I can't shut up
Na-na-na-na-na
Na-na-na, na-na-na-na
Na-na-na-na-na
(I, I ca-ca-can′t)
Na-na-na-na-na
Na-na-na, na-na-na-na
Na-na-na-na-na
Na-na-na, na-na-na-na
Pull my hair like I′m your favorite bully, push you down because I just can't
Zip my lip, someone′s gonna make me
Maybe you wanna talk right back
Shut up
About to now, friends say I should bite my tongue
Or maybe yours, put my mouth all over you like, uh
I'm saying I could punch you thinking that I love you
Better show you why I can′t shut up
Na-na-na-na-na
Na-na-na, na-na-na-na
Na-na-na-na-na
Na-na-na, na-na-na-na
Na-na-na-na-na
Na-na-na, na-na-na-na
Na-na-na-na-na
Na-na-na, na-na
Shut up
The song "Shut Up" by Hayes Warner is about a conflicted attraction to someone who is annoying and talks too much. The singer wishes that the person would stop talking and finds their jokes unfunny. The lyrics explore the idea of wanting someone physically while also being frustrated with their actions. The lines "maybe you could pull my hair like I'm your favorite bully, push you down because I just can't" suggest a desire for dominance and control in the relationship.
The chorus "shut up" is a way to express the singer's frustration with the person and their own conflicting emotions. They want to tell the person to be quiet, but also can't help their attraction. The line "better show you why I can't shut up" implies that the singer wants to prove their passion, but can't express it properly. The theme of the song revolves around the idea of speaking up for oneself and being honest about how one feels.

I just want to say this, this is the kind of music young women should be listening to, not half the trash that’s being put out today.
Energetic, enjoyable, with some subtlety thrown in. Not everything needs to be in your face, and that is something that has been lost with the majority of today’s pop music. so I applaud you for doing some thing that most artist seem incapable of doing today.
