They've brought a sense of electropop into their music and their songs have revolved around a number of topics, most with a positive attitude. HeyHiHello has a big internet following thanks to popular YouTuber "Meekakitty," the sister of HHH's drummer, who mentions them in her videos and uses their songs. Since "Keep You On Your Toes!" they've changed their overall sound and lyrical perspective and have leaned heavily towards the alternative pop genre versus their once electropop vibe.

I agree with you completely :) I like Bombshell Blonde, (from his latest album) but overall i think that i like Galaxies the best. also, it matches my voice perfectly because i can't really reach high or low notes so it makes people think i can sing XD

Oh, that's good. that's basically my meaning of it too, but including a lot more stuff. Like for example, love, and things that mean one thing to one person would be 'meaning' to me. i just have a wider variety to things than you do xD but honestly, songs about parties and sex don't have meaning to me. There is no right or wrong in this case, though.

Owl city's stuff actually DOES make sense. the bird and the worm, for example is a metaphorical song. so is alligator sky. so are most of his songs. try to listen to the lyrics with a bit of imagination, and you'll get it :3

yeah i realize that but when i mean meaning, i mean like the song would be about peace, life, god, getting to the truth, and songs about that stuff. the big picture of things, not just one specific thing that means something to the person who wrote it like love, dreams, and stuff like that.

It is in fact about a dream he had. This is a world of dreams and reverie Dreams, get it? Where I felt the stars explode around me Obviously, in the night, there r stars. A grass blade flashed with a gleam something metaphoric. an entrance for something later on in this stanza As it slashed open a moonbeam The moon is in the sky whn it's nighttime, The slashing prt is metaphoric 4 something later in the stanza Adam has insomnia, so dreaming is smething rare 2 him. That's why he wrote this song.

Maybe. People think differently. all i know is, that Adam Young has insomnia, and so to him, dreaming is a wonderful thing. he dreamed of strawberries, i'm guessing. or maybe it was metaphorical for something, but anyway. he dreamed of something he liked and made a song about it. it has a "Meaning" to it in my eyes, but i completely understand if you don't think so.

It wasn't being compared to Adam Young, it was compared to owl city. Maybe talented and famous, but most artists are. "really awesome", however is an opinion, therefore, in your opinion being compared to him is good. I personally find owl city slightly irritating, they're alright I guess, just not to fond of their music, even though I know they are pretty popular :)

Of course. after all most songs nowadays are about luv not counting the crap on the radio. For example most of Taylor Swift's songs are about love. + also, This song's about love. Owl City in my opinion is very similar to HeyHiHello Im not saying that Adams music is better than this but i honestly like owl city better than HeyHiHello only because owl city has a closer connection with me For example my best friend and i love Owl City. She and him led me to most of the things i listen to nowadays.
