I'm from Barcelona Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
I have built a treehouse
Nobody can see us
It's a you and me house
I have built a treehouse
I have built a treehouse
Nobody can see us
I've been climbing rocks and stones
Been collecting broken bones
I've been swimming across the lakes
Just to find this perfect place
I got lost into the woods
I've been covered up in mud
I've been going through a lot
Just to find this perfect spot
I have built a treehouse
I have built a treehouse
Nobody can see us
'Cause it's a you and me house
I have built a treehouse
I have built a treehouse
Nobody can see us
'Cause it's a you and me house
I've been climbing rocks and stones
Been collecting broken bones
I've been swimming across the lakes
Just to find this perfect place
I got lost into the woods
I've been covered up in mud
I've been going through a lot
Just to find this perfect spot
I have built a treehouse
I have built a treehouse
Nobody can see us
It's a you and me house
I have built a treehouse
I have built a treehouse
Nobody can see us
'Cause it's a you and me house
I have built a treehouse
I have built a treehouse
Nobody can see us
'Cause it's a you and me house
I have built a treehouse
I have built a treehouse
Nobody can see us
'Cause it's a you and me house
I have built a treehouse
I have built a treehouse
Nobody can see us
'Cause it's a you and me house
I have built a treehouse
I have built a treehouse
Nobody can see us
'Cause it's a you and me house
I have built a treehouse
I have built a treehouse
Nobody can see us
'Cause it's a you and me house
I have built a treehouse
I have built a treehouse
Nobody can see us
'Cause it's a you and me house
I've built a treehouse
And no one can see us
I've built a treehouse
And no one can see us
I've built a treehouse
And no one can see us
I've built a treehouse
And no one can see us
I've built a treehouse
And no one can see us
I've built a treehouse
And no one can see us
I've built a treehouse
The lyrics of "Jenny" by I'm from Barcelona speak of the singer's journey to find a secluded place where they can be alone with their partner. They have built a treehouse that is hidden and cannot be seen by anyone else. They have gone to great lengths to find this perfect spot, including climbing rocks and stones, swimming across lakes, and getting lost in the woods. The treehouse represents a sanctuary where the singer and their partner can escape from the outside world and be together without any interruptions or distractions. The repetitive nature of the lyrics emphasizes the importance of this safe space and reinforces the idea that it is only for the two of them.
The lyrics of "Jenny" can be interpreted as a representation of the desire for privacy and intimacy in a relationship. The singer's journey to find this perfect spot symbolizes the effort and dedication required to establish a strong connection and bond with their partner. It can also be interpreted as a criticism of the modern world where privacy is becoming increasingly difficult to achieve, and the need for private spaces is becoming more and more vital.
