"Illyah and Ltd. Candy" now is Limited Candy´s and my attempt to not just produce some audible frequencies and distinct styles but to position ourselves in an ideological field, which we are devoted to from the bottom of some corners of our hearts - a.k.a. Reggae/Dub. This simply means some sort of transversal fun and kind offence, since, beyond the orders of coolness, there is seemingly nothing left to believe in - just the insisting need to quit believing in favor for the sincere, in-alienated desire. So we comb the Ten Commandments out of our hair and try to have some serious fun, with a little help of our machines and our ghosts. Drink Coca Cola! Have Sex! Take care of yourself!'

Sway, sway
Sway, sway
Hold up - Z Top
Never let a homie be dropped
Never let a bitch come up front
Flashing everything like its a band drop
I got a Benz whip, pulling up, ask me if I give a fuck. I got my dogs in the back and they all getting ready to run.
Sway, sway
Sway, sway
Sway, sway
Sway, sway
Sway, sway
I got a Benz whip, pulling up, as me if I give a fuck. I got my dogs in the back and they all getting ready to run. Dont talk to me 'less you aint got the bread, I had a hard time going Im just tryna get 'head.
Sway, sway
Sway, sway
Sway, sway
Z Top, he dropped
Z Top, he dropped
The lyrics to "Candy" by Illyah & Ltd. Candy are reflective of a person's struggle to move on from a past lover. The opening line "On a peu de raisons de se perdre dans l'oubli" translates to "We have few reasons to get lost in oblivion" which sets the tone for the rest of the song. The singer is trying to resist the temptation of staying in the shadows outside of their ex's window, waiting for the chance to see them again. Even though the singer seems to be trying to convince themselves that they don't care, they are still anxiously awaiting the chance to see their ex.
The line "Ce n'est pas grand-chose tu dis, mais toi tu vois la vie en rose" which translates to "It's not a big deal you say, but you see life in pink" illustrates the singer's inner turmoil. They act like seeing their ex again isn't a big deal, but deep down it means everything to them. The chorus reinforces their longing when they sing "Attends-moi trois quarts d'heure qu'on se meurt que tu t'oublies" which translates to "Wait for me three quarters of an hour, so we can die and forget everything" and "Attends-moi trois quarts d'heure je la joue « cash » à ce qu'on dit, Avec Candy" which translates to "Wait for me three quarters of an hour, I'll play it cool, with Candy they say."

We have very few reasons to get lost in oblivion
And stay in her shadow and under her window at night
You can talk like a guy and pretend a lot
Te traîner par terre à attendre samedi
Dragging yourself on the ground while waiting for Saturday
Laughing at her tears and being afraid when she cries
Ce n'est pas grand-chose tu dis
It's nothing, you say
But you see life through rose-colored glasses
Attends-moi trois quarts d'heure qu'on se meurt que tu t'oublies
Wait for me for forty-five minutes so we can die and forget ourselves
Wait for me for forty-five minutes, I'll play it cool, as they say
