2. Not only this Smooth Jazz band shares same band name, they have a song called "Millenium"(2006) that is exactly same title (intentionally misspelled) as the other Incognito's (Jazz Funk) song on their album "100° and Rising"(1995), plus the logo resembles in font. The title "Every Day"(2006) on the album Street Smarts exactly alike in titles (when read) with the other Incognito's famous tune "Everyday"(1995). They are often tagged totec radio. Also mis-tagged by fans as bluey where there's no link to Jean-Paul "Bluey" Maunick himself. r00ts & t4lk1n l0ud tags also used, that could mislead fans to the Bluey's famous tunes like "Roots" & "Talkin' Loud".

Ain't It Time
Incognito Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
Thinking the life you're living is where it's at
Don't you feel discontent inside
There's something about you life just cannot hide
They say home is where your heart is
But I say it's in your peace of mind
If you go home to yourself
Happiness you've got to find
Ain't it time you went home. Ain't it time you went home
Ain't it time you went home. Ain't it time you went home
Going home, going home
Facing the truth is the first move to make
Then love and dreams are yours to take
There'll be no love lest you give it
Dreams will be dreams until you live them
Strong belief with a strong pursuit
Is the latest combination to see you through
You be your own master double-denim strong
You wonder how you stayed away from home so long
Incognito's song Ain't It Time is a soulful song that encourages listeners to take a step back and re-evaluate their lives. The lyrics speak to a person who has lost their way and is now living a life that is unfulfilling. The song challenges the individual to face the truth about their situation and make a change. It asks them to go home, not necessarily to a physical place, but to themselves. The lyrics suggest that true happiness and contentment come from finding peace within yourself.
The first part of the song asks the question, where did the individual get off the track and start living a life that is not fulfilling? It suggests that the person has settled for a life that is comfortable but hollow. The lyrics go on to say that there is something missing in their life that cannot be ignored. The song points out that while people often say that home is where the heart is, it is actually in one's peace of mind. Happiness cannot be found externally, but rather from within oneself.
The second part of the song encourages the listener to face the truth about their situation and take action. It suggests that once the person has faced the truth, they can start to live the life they want. Love and dreams are within their reach, but they must believe in themselves and pursue them. The lyrics suggest that the individual must become their own master and take control of their life. It urges them to take action and go home to themselves, where they will find the happiness they seek.
