The lyrics to Inoran's song "Spirit" speak of the beauty and significance of one particular person in the singer's life. The repeated line "咲いていて 狂おしく君だけは" (saiteite kurushiku kimi dake wa) roughly translates to "You alone bloom passionately" and serves as a declaration of the unique and cherished value that this person holds. The singer expresses a desire to remain with this person, refusing to second-guess their feelings and intentions - "咲いていて 迷うことなく此処で" (saiteite mayou koto naku koko de).
The verse "抱いていた 傷を隠さないで 感じていた 全てを 意味を そう 今" (daite ita kizu wo kakusanai de kanjite ita subete wo imi wo sou ima) speaks of the singer's willingness to be vulnerable and honest, not hiding their wounds and feeling everything deeply in the present moment. The chorus provides a sense of hope and possibility, with the lines "遠ざかる昨日よりも 繰り返す明日よりも 覚えてて 重なれば 出逢えるさ" (toozakaru kinou yori mo kurikaesu ashita yori mo oboetete kasanareba deaeru sa) implying that even if the past is distant and the future uncertain, the singer believes in the power of their connection with this person and the potential for their paths to cross.
The concluding lines "流れに 身を委ねれば 華になって 重なりあう" (nagare ni mi wo yudanereba hana ni natte kasanariau) suggest a sense of surrender and transformation, as the singer imagines themselves becoming a flower and merging with the flow of life to find harmony and connection with the person they love.
