Whip it Whip it
Like them dope boys do
Hit it Hit it
Smoke a blunt or two
Quit it Quit it
I can't fuck with you
These hoes must have me confused
Whip it Whip it
Like them dope boys do
Hit it Hit it
Smoke a blunt or two
Quit it Quit it
I can't fuck with you
These hoes must have me confused
She love the way my music sound
I hit her up when I'm around
We're smoking while the night is young
We take shots until we're fuckin drunk
Then we hit the scene
And I feel supreme
I feel so good like I'm in a dream
Mixing purp with Tangerine
Smoking grinch and it hit so mean
Oye loca ven conmigo
You, your girls, and all your people
Head in the clouds
But it ain't the peak tho
Bout to take off like I'm part of Migos
And she know
That I am not a hero
I'm a fucking villain
Tryin take all of your zeros
This million dollar scheme
Could have me buzzin like mosquitos
I got all of my stones
And now I'm Stomping y'all like Beatles
Whip it Whip it
Like them dope boys do
Hit it Hit it
Smoke a blunt or two
Quit it Quit it
I can't fuck with you
These hoes must have me confused
Whip it Whip it
Like them dope boys do
Hit it Hit it
Smoke a blunt or two
Quit it Quit it
I can't fuck with you
These hoes must have me confused
I'm trippin in my universe
I'm trippin while I write this verse
Come kick it in my universe
We roll up until our fingers hurt
I cant fuck with you
These hoes must have me confused
Man, I swear I'll never lose
There ain't shit that you can do
You can front and say you're down
When I call you can't be found
Solo's coming for the crown
Diving in the upside down
Whip it Whip it
Like them dope boys do
Hit it Hit it
Smoke a blunt or two
Quit it Quit it
I can't fuck with you
These hoes must have me confused
Whip it Whip it
Like them dope boys do
Hit it Hit it
Smoke a blunt or two
Quit it Quit it

I can't fuck with you
These hoes must have me confused

Overall Meaning

In the song "Upside Down" by J-Rellz, the lyrics portray a rebellious and confident mindset. The first verse begins with the lines "Whip it Whip it, Like them dope boys do" which suggests the act of being in control and taking charge, similar to how drug dealers are often depicted in popular culture. This is followed by "Hit it Hit it, Smoke a blunt or two", which indicates a carefree attitude towards indulging in recreational activities, specifically smoking marijuana.

The lyrics then express a dismissive attitude towards certain individuals, stating "Quit it Quit it, I can't fuck with you, These hoes must have me confused." This suggests that the artist feels misunderstood or manipulated by others, particularly by women who may have misguided perceptions about him.

Moving into the chorus, the lyrics reiterate the idea of "Whip it Whip it" and "Hit it Hit it" as a way of emphasizing the artist's assertive nature and desire to command attention. The repetition serves to reinforce the confidence and swagger in the artist's demeanor. The lyrics also mention feeling superior and invincible, comparing oneself to a villain rather than a hero, metaphorically taking pleasure in accumulating wealth and power.

The second verse evokes a sense of escapism and being in an altered state of mind with lines like "I'm trippin in my universe, I'm trippin while I write this verse". This suggests that the artist finds inspiration in unconventional settings, possibly influenced by drugs or other substances. The lyrics also invite others to join in this alternate reality, expressing a desire for camaraderie and shared experiences.

The final section of the song continues to assert the artist's independence and determination to succeed, highlighted by the line "Man, I swear I'll never lose, There ain't shit that you can do". This reinforces the notion that the artist will not be swayed or deterred by the doubts or opinions of others. The lyrics also emphasize the importance of authenticity and loyalty, expressing frustration towards those who may pretend to be supportive but are ultimately unreliable.

In summary, "Upside Down" by J-Rellz showcases a rebellious and confident attitude, rejecting societal norms and expectations. It reflects the artist's desire to maintain control over his own life and artistry, while critiquing those who may misunderstand or underestimate him. The lyrics celebrate indulgence, escapism, and individuality, conveying a sense of empowerment and determination to succeed despite any obstacles.

@messchris7579

Niggazk know they ain’t playing out here 🧏🏽‍♂️🤣💯

@alhishambey1092

I live here in NYC, you have bloods throwing up crip hand signs, you also have crips throwing up blood hand signs. The problem with the gangs here on the east coast is that they try so hard to imitate west coast gang culture, without really doing their research and knowing what its about, they look very foolish.

@SacramentoStreetWars

That’s krazy!

@dweebferber552

They should have made own gangs positive though. It makes the east look bad copying another city

@dweebferber552

But I don’t know why people like this old stuff anymore it’s started off as community protection and then next ignorance

@bankrollsinga6537

Who do u think started bloods and crips? West coast

@chuckiea7011

That's because they're not really Crips and Bloods. Those that you're seeing doing that are from this current generation which are lost. I'm from New York City born and raised. I don't bang but I can tell you that Bloods and Crips in the 90's and early 2000's never threw up gang signs of the opposite gang unless its meant to be disrespectful. Besides, what you're also seeing are two mega Brooklyn gangs called the Woos and Choos. Both gangs have Blood and Crip members but they beef with each other depending on what side they on. The Choos also got Gangster Disciples along with the Bloods and Crips that beef with the Woos.
