Jordan Craft; One word comes to mind when describing this Colorado artist, and that word is Versatile. Free-styling and speaking poetry amongst the older crowd at a young age helped create the style that you hear from him. “With influences like UGK, T.I., Nas and Jay-Z, Luda; I grew into not just being a “rapper”, but I also grew into being an artist,” says Craft. “Also, with a lot of my family located in Mississippi, I definitely got some of that southern flavor too because I spent so much time out there,” he added. Born July 20th, 1988 in Colorado Springs, CO, Jordan was exposed to music during the infant stages; Always bouncing to the rhythm of the song playing off of his mother’s record player. As Craft got older, basketball became his love. “Since about 4 or 5, I had a ball in my hand. But I couldn’t keep my grades up in school, so my mom took me out of basketball. That’s when I really started getting into music.” When Craft was eight, Jordan was eating Thanksgiving dinner with family; and when everyone was done, his two older brothers and several cousins, gathered in the basement and started a cypher; Playing the instrumental version of AZ’s ‘Rather Unique’, they went around the circle until they they had to rewind the tape again. “They re-winded the tape and I’m in the circle, bobbin’ my head to the beat and I just bust out with four bars, everybody was like Ooooooohhh! That’s when it pretty much started.” Ever since then, Jordan Craft has been perfecting his ‘craft’ and positioning himself to be one of the best this Hip-Hop world has to offer. With working with the likes of Young Buck, Bone Thugs N Harmony, Tanya Morgan and 211, Craft is looking to make an impact and become a known force in the music world. Jordan Craft just recently dropped his first EP, ‘Not Just A F***in’ Mixtape’ or NJAFM and has received warm reception to the project with it being put on blogs such as Tribeclaritylivin.com and Dirty-21.com. Jordan Craft is also working with accomplished producer/emcee Boonie Mayfield; Coming with ‘Audiopium’ late 2012. Jordan’s work ethic, delivery, sound and drive is something that separates him from all of the other artists found in today’s music. Versatile; that defines Jordan Craft.

Don't be crazy, crazy, crazy, crazy, crazy
"だって no one understands me"
笑い飛ばせ you can be stronger
Don't you know
Be alright, come on home boyz
Be alright, come on home girlz
Be alright, come on home boyz
Be alright, come on home girlz
Just let it go
Don't be scared, scared, scared, scared, scared
なぜそんなに out of ya mind?
Hey, look up the sky
Don't you know
Be alright, come on home boyz
Be alright, come on home girlz
Be alright, come on home boyz
Be alright, come on home girlz
Five, four, three, two, one
Yea, the past is over
笑い飛ばせ you can be stronger
Don't you know
Be alright, come on home boyz
Be alright, come on home girlz
Be alright, come on home boyz
Be alright, come on home girlz
The lyrics to J.Craft's song Alright convey a message of encouragement and empowerment in the face of challenges and self-doubt. The first verse addresses someone who is feeling misunderstood and overwhelmed, encouraging them to stop dwelling on their tears and to find strength within themselves. The second verse offers a more general message about overcoming obstacles and not being afraid of failure, emphasizing the importance of looking forward and not getting stuck in the past. The chorus repeats the phrase "Be alright" as a mantra of sorts, urging the listener to keep their head up and believe in themselves.
One interesting aspect of this song is the use of a mix of Japanese and English lyrics. This could be interpreted as a reflection of J.Craft's cultural identity or an intentional choice to make the song accessible to a wider audience. Additionally, the song's upbeat tempo and catchy melody make it a potential anthem for anyone seeking motivation or inspiration.
Overall, J.Craft's "Alright" is a powerful message of resilience and self-confidence, delivered through a combination of musical styles and languages.
