The song "Epitaph for a Head" by J.D. Blackfoot is a romantic song with a catchy tune that talks about the love and affection the singer has for his beloved. In the song, the singer asks the question "If I tell you that I love you, would you "babe" be my own?" which shows that he is willing to do anything to be with this person. The chorus of the song also repeats the phrases "Plenty love for your head, plenty dollars for your head, plenty naira for your head" which suggests that he is ready to provide and take care of his beloved. The verse explains that the singer will do anything for his beloved and will give them all the love they need.
The song uses a mix of English and Nigerian Pidgin English which gives the song a unique and distinct sound. The use of Pidgin English can be attributed to the fact that J.D. Blackfoot had a Nigerian background and this influence can be seen in his music. The chorus of the song is very catchy and repeats the phrases "plenty love for your head" and "plenty dollars for your head" which makes it easy to sing along to.

Well I keep on walking sideways up and down a hill
Roll yourself a joint, give yourself a thrill
Talking to a guru on the hotline
Raise your hands and feets but speak an open mind
Well, I'm tied up and golden and moving on with speed
The lips will read a warning but I've got no time to heed
Doctor's warning, people crowding trying hard to see
That flat metallic object in the crosshair over me
Ahh, it's a space God
Well, the psychedelic color's making thunder in my brain
Chewing on my body and feeling half insane
Ain't no time now for wishing and hoping
When one eye's closed, the other's two foot open
Ahh, yeah

They may have recorded this confused mixture of psych in a rubber room. A crazy record, but I like crazy. It would be cool to hear the top side
