Out on 95 look outside sun is going down
Chilling in a vibe with the squad yea it's going down
I don't know the time but on God it is going down
Hit you on the dial make you smile yea going down
Going down
Going down
Going down
Going down
If you wanna ride bet it's going down
Get you to the spot yea it's going down
Nah it don't really matter
We don't need the chit chatter
Baby we can go slow or baby I can make it faster now
Nah I ain't here for all that capping nah
Yea I been drinking on that Captain ah
So tell me if I shoot my shot can a nigga come thru and make it bounce like a basketball
Yea yea yea girl lemme see what that thing do
Give it so good make you sing too
From the back all you see is them ankles aw ooh yea
Imma go in rearrange you
Imma make it worth the wait boo
You tell me that you like it when I make you aw ooh yea
Now you sitting with your mind blown
Going so long I don't know where the times gone
You can sleep over you ain't gotta drive home
And I can hold you in my arms all night long
Turn you over rub your body to the right song
You ain't never had nobody do it right no
Let's do it right now
Out on 95 look outside sun is going down
Chilling in a vibe with the squad yea it's going down
I don't know the time but on God it is going down
Hit you on the dial make you smile yea going down
Going down
Going down
Going down
Going down
If you wanna ride bet it's going down
Get you to the spot yea it's going down

I'm tryna keep the lights on but dim em down if it's cool
And yea we just finished but I'm down for round number 2
You should'a knew that this was coming when you round me but you
Was playing games
Day to day
You made a way
To get yo ass over here late at night now you staying late
And now Imma make you say my name
Running round every base
Yea we stay awake
And now I see in your eyes your excited (Gah damn)
So when you come you don't need no invite yea (Gah damn)
And once I get that text ooh is that time yea (Gah damn)
Cause girl the things you do keep me alive yea
Get my heart racing
Know you wanna take it
Girl I'm on ya ass like them fucking car chases
Stop
Imma pace it
Getting back to it now you tell me that you made it
Stop
Girl you dangerous
Getting back on and then you ride it like you race it
Stop

Go to sleep wake up and we back on the same shit
Out on 95 look outside sun is going down
Chilling in a vibe with the squad yea it's going down
I don't know the time but on God it is going down
Hit you on the dial make you smile yea going down
Going down
Going down
Going down
Going down

If you wanna ride bet it's going down
Get you to the spot yea it's going down

Overall Meaning

The lyrics of J.D. Simo's song "Goin' Down" is a heartfelt expression of the pain and longing of a person who has been left alone after a breakup. The opening lines capture the essence of the song, with the singer expressing his frustration at having nothing to do and no one to share his time with since his lover has gone. The sound of the rain against the windowpane symbolizes the dreariness and melancholy that has engulfed his world.

As the song progresses, the singer delves into the depths of his emotions, confessing that he is going down because he feels incomplete without his lover. Sleep doesn't come easy to him, and he is consumed by the memories of their time together. The singer is unable to fathom why his lover had to leave him, and he begs for forgiveness and a chance to make things right.

The repetition of the phrase "goin' down," is a metaphor for the singer's emotional state. He feels like he is sinking, drowning in the sorrow and despair of his heartbreak. The song is a potent reminder of how love can transform us, both in the happiness and sadness it brings. It is an ode to the power of love and the way it can shape the trajectory of our lives.

+motokev I've known Johnny personally for 30 years or so and seen
him numerous times over the years, as well as having played with him
on a few occasions. He's a North Shore of Boston guy and it's a
pretty tight community. As I said, he's a very, very good player (better
than me, for sure) and in retrospect, I'd say he's certainly as good as
J.D. Simo. One of the things I've always loved about Johnny A's music
and playing is his sense of melody and also how he picks his spots to
lay the crazy licks on you. He's a dynamic player who uses his tone
palate well. But Greg Koch is in another league altogether. Just a mon-
ster player who does it all and is funny as a bastard, too. Cheers!
