Is really how you look at it though
Everybody got they own demons they fighting
Got nothing else but to use them drugs
But you just gotta keep pushin'
Look at this world in a new perspective
And for that Should make you stronger
Throughout your whole story
In and Out my head
I’m tryna keep away these voices
But all instead I’m entertained
With all my choices
Gotta maintain balance it out
Told my momma ima make her proud
She sittin' in the couch
She say jay how we gon make it out
Don’t gotta worry gotta plan
For you momma
Straight from the muscle
For my sisters and my brothers
They don’t understand
It’s so hard from where I’m coming
Fuck a friend
Fuck a cap
We beat your head don’t be a runner
(GRRRAA)
I could pop shit Lock shit
Ain’t no do or die
It’s a scheme
Baby please don’t give them what you need
I got 30 round to it
I got niggas niggas in the scene
( I could pop shit lock shit ain’t no do or die)
Always pushing never riding it slow
If you gon go then go
Heart break up in the middle of the ocean
This pain gotta be spoken
I know the real recognize the truth
I try to make myself a better living
I try to find myself with all this healing
I tried to work the 9 to 5
That can’t be my drive
I know that ima thrive
(Yea)
I try I try I try
I try I try I try
And I tried And I tried
And I tried and I won’t stop
All these voices and critics
Put shit in my fitted
Tell me would you love me
If I ain’t sit down for a couple minutes
Look up to my father
Cuz he told me how to go and get it
Started from scratch no excuses
Had to go and fix it

(I keep on going through these phases promise I won’t change)

J DIlla is the greatest, his range from genres were on another level.
Kester Henry
Because you appreciate beats by geniuses like Dilla himself, you too will continue to make dope beats! Keep it up man! A lot of people out here don't take the time to master and appreciate their craft. Good to know guys like you are still around!
ClearBlueHipHop
just the details like the placement of the background (one one one) and (Two two two) is what make Dilla beats so much more special and genius then most

I've been looking all over for that song Dilla sampled for this incredible beat. I always thought it was a Johnny Mathis/Denise Williams song. This just sounds like waking up from a dream to a woman whispering "Morning. baby." with a smile on her lips and in her eyes...
Someone in a different post of this track said it sounded like Dilla scooped Billy Preston & Syreeta up into heaven with him. I can hear that too.
