They started to get plays and gigs around Tokyo, Nagoya, Osaka from 1989, and there first single to come out was エヴリディ in the same year they announce the release of album DOKI DOKI.

In 1990, "present" "にちようび" "summer festivals" became a big hit for the band.

Whiteberry covers "a summer festival" “夏祭り” in 2000 and makes a hit again.
