Jack Green Lyrics

Yes darling all the time
Tenderly
Constantly
I'll love you
Every day
I'll prove it every way
Or in loneliness
I'll love you
Other arms may tempt me
But don't let that bother you
For even if they tempt me
II'll never be untrue
All the time
Yes darling all the time
Through the years
Through smiles or tears
I'll love you
Other arms may tempt me
But don't let that bother you
For even if they tempt me
I'll never be untrue
All the time
Yes darling all the time
Through the years
Through smiles and tears
I'll love you

This was a favorite of mine to sing to my wife. We had married when we were 19. Married two months then I was gone to war. when we were 21 years old and I had returned from Vietnam, we were stationed at Camp Pendleton, California. She would run her fingers over my lips and ask, "Do you love me?" God yes. I would sing this song to her. Two young lovers in love. We loved it. God took her home after 22 years. That was in 1988. Thank you for the years you gave me, Loretta. I still miss you.

I really don't know when it was that I first heard this song, but I can say for sure that I loved it then and I love it now after all those decades of time that I've listened to this incredible singer. He, like so many others, has gone home and we are left with saddened hearts and a void inside that just can't be filled by someone else. He had the ability to take a song....put his magic touch on it and make it come alive. I will forever remember that about this amazing singer and incredible man. I miss you Jack....Rest in the glory of God's love for eternity....
